Product is well packaged and presented. The cable is a bit lighter weight Than the Apple power cable, but looks durable enough to last. I tried it on my MacBook Pro 16", using the upper right Thunderbolt 3 slot. It fit fine, but you do have to remember to push the connector all the way in until the flange rests on the MacBook case. Same is true on the power supply end. There is a click stop when it gets there that can feel very tight, but go ahead and push through it. When I tried to charge the computer, the MagSafe connection kept losing contact. I set it up to charge, got the proper signal on the screen, but when I returned hours later, the MagSafe joint had failed to work properly. I am sure I had it connected properly. Nothing touched or moved the cables. I do not see what is wrong. I am returning the cable for a refund.

Ever since purchasing my latest Macbook Pro, I've really missed the Magsafe charging cable. I understand why Apple converted over to USB-C for all the connections. But they never provided an equivalent replacement. This product fits the bill. I am using it with my current 87W charger, and have not seen any issues with charging or charging speed compared to the stock USB-C cable. Nor have I noticed any issues with the cable heating up whatsoever. I originally looked at a few other magnetic adapters. Mainly, the ones that you plug your existing cable into. While they do work, the magnets are not nearly strong enough for the thicker, heavier USB-C cable that comes with the Macbook charger. They would hold when the device was still. But as soon as you start to move it around, the connection would break. This product, works significantly better for a Magsafe charger cable replacement. The cable is lighter weight, which allows it to stay in place even when maneuvering my laptop around. If you are just looking for a Magsafe replacement, I would definitely recommend this product.

As much as I love my new MacBook Pro (2019) there are things I miss about my old faithful one (late 2013 model). The one thing I miss the most was the amazing ability to charge my laptop without the fear of ever taking it for a ride if I tripped over the cord (though I never did). The Elecjet Magnetic Charging Cable has filled that "void". The magnet is strong enough (though not as strong as the Magsafe) and the tip that remains in the laptop is small and hardly noticeable when not connected. The tip is firmly in the port but not difficult to remove if/when necessary. My only complaint is that it does not have the LED the Magsafe does but that is not significant enough to lower the rating. Edit: I just ordered my third one of these. I use them with my iPad Pro, my MacBook Pro (see above) and now, after purchasing a "Female PD USB C to T Tip Magnetic 5Pin Charge Cable Adapter for Mac Book Air Pro" (see link below), I can now use the same charger on any of my devices no matter where I or my loved ones plug in.
