Electric Toothbrush Replacement Heads 4pk – Charcoal Infused Bamboo - Sustainable BPA Free Electric Toothbrush Heads...

I need the type of replacement head that is not the same as for my former Phillips Sonicare. I bought these since they did not say 'compatible with Phillips Sonicare' but they are and they are not the type I need.

I'm all for this is it puts less plastic out in the world and is truly made in a sustainable way, however its hard to really find any proof in such a thing. Just by nature of having to fit onto the toothbrush battery itself, there is a small piece of plastic to attach on. It has a rough texture you can feel when brushing but not in a bad way, just different. Though I'm not sure if the bristles are actually charcoal infused, any other charcoal teeth product I've used usually bleeds a little of the charcoal on each us and even on a fresh brush didn't occur. I appreciate the sentiment but I'm skeptical on the claims.

The whole packaging seems very eco friendly. The box, paper wrapped individual replacement heads and the bamboo handle all look great. I've used another bamboo replacement brush in the past and they do take getting used to. The bamboo seems to snap the cheeks and lips when brushing. I would wet the bamboo portion to help it glide over easier like plastic will. However, it doesn't entirely eliminate that entirely due to the material. The other part is that the bristles on these are also rather soft. I don't mind having soft bristles but I wished it had some firmer ones also to help when brushing due to all the crevices between teeth. It does make it more difficult to brush since I'm more conscious about how I'm maneuvering the brush. That factored with how the bamboo part rubs against the mouth makes it not as easy to use as I'd like.

These stayed on longer (past 30 day return window) than competitor bamboo brush heads but shortly after 30 days started coming off our Sonicare handles, now we're stuck with useless brushes.

Clean Idea's ecobrush charcoal-infused bamboo toothbrush heads are very soft, more like my GUM Deep Clean manual toothbrush than the stiff electric toothbrush bristles I'm used to brushing with. The heads fit well on my older Phillips Sonicare toothbrush and are far more environmentally friendly than the OEM plastic heads. Charcoal is supposed to help whiten teeth, but I can't tell yet if it's working or not. I've only been using the first head for about 2 weeks and so far it's holding up fine, but I do worry that the infusion of charcoal won't last anywhere near 3 months. Only time will tell.
