Has a terrible smell of burning plastic. I think it's coming from the outer plastic shell. It's also pretty small though. Some of the stuff had small scratches too. Other than that, I'm struggling to get it to burn wax. I'm not sure if it's the type of wax. Probably wouldn't get again and would buy one that's better.

I used this to make party favors for a wedding and it was so much easier than lighting candles, having to change out candles or the wax heating too hot with the candles. Loved this!!

Love the pink and gold color, easy to find on my work space. The set was extremely easy to use, is plug and play. Place the wax you want to melt in the selected spoon. It well melt, you simply pour onto the spot desired. Apply your seal and repeat as needed. They set seams durable, fair quality, get hot to melt the wax but easy to clean up after. Cut and functional set that will not break the bank.

I've been playing around with 3d printed seal stamps lately and while I still need a few more iterations I can say this is a good way to get going if you have a stamp ready to go. The body of the device feels like acceptable plastic that could be a little better. It gets hotter than you'd want to hold when on but not so much you'd burn yourself from a quick touch. Easily within 5 minutes it's ready to go if not sooner. I use the larger spoon as it fits nicer and makes use of the little lip in the base that holds it steady. The only trouble I've had with this set is that the wax doesn't drip cleanly off the end of the spoon so there's always a little that gets on the bottom. Fortunately this wax is great and my favorite I've used. It's pretty easy to clean off both the the spoon and heater base. Speaking of the wax though it is a dream to use. I keep my stamp in ice-water and give it a light press and leave until the wax is cooled. It sticks very well to the paper so once cool enough it doesn't stick at all to a stamp. Not only that it looks great too with its sparkly bits. While the base may not feel the highest quality I think as a package this is a good product and I'd recommend to anyone wanting to get started with the simplest heating method.
