I was looking for a retractable leash longer than normal to help with training my 6 month, 35 lb husky. I was reluctant to try this leash due to how thin the line is. But I gave it a try figuring I'd return it if it was a cheap quality or flimsy. After using this leash daily, for several weeks, in many different situations, I absolutely love it. I have not experienced any issue with the auto retraction (as I thought might happen) and the line is very sturdy. It is easy to use and is now my go to leash over any of my other standard length leashes. If I need the leash to be shorter as we are in a store or situation where my dog needs to be close to me, I just set the stop and it stays at the length I set. I absolutely would recommend this leash.

We had a different style of leash for years. It finally gave out. So as usual one wants to have the same leash.... But I was unable to find the prior brand. After much research I got this one. It is of the same quality as the other leash I owned. My 67 pound dog has plenty of length to wander while it still being strong enough for anyone walking him to maintain control.

I got this leash for my sisters large golden doodle and it works exactly as expected. The clip to hold its length is sometimes hard to lock in place, but otherwise it works exactly as expected.

I have long used retractable leashes with my pets, but they were all like ten feet shorter than this one... my mid size to large dog surely likes the extra freedom it provides... be warned about one thing, though, that extra length may prove to be a problem if you walk you dog alongside roads... make very sure to shorten up on the leash when there's traffic around... I live on a back road, not much traffic, so that's not as much of a problem for me... to sum up, it's a good looking leash-- high visibility-- seems to be made well, and it's reasonably priced, at least in my opinion... and that extra 10 feet gives your pup a little more freedom, that's always a good thing... I recommend it mostly for dogs 60 pounds or larger...
