Suction cup

We really like this tablet/phone holder. Sits on passenger side for wife viewing of tablet. Our 2015 Chevy Malibu dash, is not soon smooth. This cause the suction cup to loose grip. I'm using gorilla clear double sided tape, and it's holding very well. Was considering Alien tape found at Walmart or ZeeBooth, but cost more for little tape I need. So experiment on your dash material type. Also holds with tape in hot weather too!

Nice design but suction cup kept falling off and the knob to adjust tension broke after a year.

Now I must preface this by stating that I live in South FL and the car dash gets very hot. Having said that, I found the mount to be exactly what I was looking for design wise but the materials left a bit to be desired. The suction cup kept failing and the mount would fall off randomly. I tried using the provided plastic disc and that dryer the cup stay but then the adhesive on the plastic disc itself failed (even after following instructions and cleaning the surface with alcohol and letting it dry, etc.) It's been a year and the plastic tensioning knob became brittle and cracked leaving the arm wobbly. I like the tablet mount but the materials are not suitable for places where it gets hot like south FL. 3 out of 5 stars.

I was not disappointed; this one has worked out great. First off, easy to install. I like how this one was easy to assemble, and each part locks into place. I also like how well it sticks to my dash, which is not smooth and still holds tight. Secondly, it works perfectly. I like how I can easily put my Samsung Fold 4 closed and open, horizontally or vertically, and it holds perfectly. I also like that it holds tight even when going over bumps or the occasional accident of digging it. Lastly, it is easy to take down. I like how I can easily remove it and use it for my loaner vehicles, and it still sticks after repeated use. No cons, it worked out great for me, and I am very happy with the purchase.
