Better than not.

I am not a makeup person so this is a basic review. Two coats of the mascara tends to look clumpier than I prefer but one coat of this and one coat of the mascara looks much cleaner to me. My length of my eyelashes match the length of my patience so I need all the help I can get but honestly, I think the effect may be lost on people like me. I definitely didnt send it back but I went back to my other brand so .

Doesnt hold curl

My eyelashes are pretty straight, so I always curl them if Im putting on mascara. The primer works great in that it goes on nicely and its easy to cover the white primer with mascara. It really does make the lashes look longer and fuller. But it must weigh down my eyelashes or something because they wont stay as curled as they do when I just use mascara. Its not as bad as the Essence tubing mascara (that held NO curl and made my lashes stick straight again), but there is definitely a difference when I use the primer vs when I use just mascara. Half the curl is gone when I use the primer first.

Quality product that is inexpensive

I purchased this mascara primer because I noticed my lashes had started breaking in some spots, and I like voluminous lashes. I have been trying to be more conscious of my beauty product purchases lately to make sure they are at least cruelty-free if not vegan. This primer hits both marks and is a very good product for a very reasonable price. I am happy with the performance of the primer and have noticed my lashes seem a bit healthier since I started using it. Great buy for an inexpensive but effective beauty item that is also ethical.
