Letters and colors look fine. My complaint is that there are not 35 of the letter E or A or other vowels or other letters you need. I cannot spell Grace OR Ellie even one time in the same color except once with a very few colors. Be prepared to mix colors to complete any name, even one time. Even mixing colors, there are not 35 of each letter.

Added these to my daughter's variety of beads for making and trading bracelets so that she has the option to add in letters/words to her creations. She and her friends are at an age where making and trading bracelets is big right now so these are great.

I purchased tickets to take my niece to see Taylor Swift in the coming year and she is so incredibly excited about it. She has been wanted to make friendship bracelets for a long time, so since we will be going to the concert, I decided to order different bead kits so we can make them together. She wanted black beads so when I came across this set, I decided to go ahead and place an order for it. They arrived quickly, but I have one massive complaint They are loose in a bag. Typically the beads come in different sectioned off containers but not these. Just the massive amount of loose beads all mixed together. It was a bit of a nightmare, trying to find the letters that were needed to spelled different words out. They are nice quality and they do look really good so Im giving three stars which I feel is very fair considering the way these are shipped out. There are definitely other kits out there that are much more organized for about the same price so I give this a mixed recommendation. I hope my review helps you to make a more well informed decision.

After reading previous reviews, l decided to do a little quality control of my own. I grew up inspecting parts for family in the machine shop industry, so, l have a discerning eye, and lots of patience for what would normally be a daunting task. These days, with failing eyesight, and arthritic hands, lm not as fast as l used to be, so, here are the results, three hours later keep in mind that there should be 35 of each letter, and 45 each of the hearts and smiley faces: A-36 I-19 Q-28 Y-32 B-44 J-29 R-32 Z-43 C-29 K-43 S-26 Hearts-61 D-45 L-35 T-31 Smiley Faces-51 E-36 M-30 U-36 Misprints-9 F-34 N-35 V-35 G-30 O-34 W-31 H-41 P-25 X-48 Three out of 28, had exactly the number they should have had; 25 were either over or short, with quite a few being ridiculously so! This set was one bead short of the 1000, with 9 misprints, not useable; so, actually 10 beads short. Receiving additional letters for some is not helpful13 Xs, 16 smileys, 26 hearts, etc., when there are so many more popular letters that normally dont have enough to begin with, let alone be shorted. While this set is a good value, l would much rather spend a little more to have the letters packaged separately, whether organized in a case, like most come in, or at the very least, in individual plastic bags, which is how l repackaged them, since l took the time to separate them. Given the price, l wouldnt bother going through the trouble of returning/exchanging it. While quality control seems to be a thing of the past, l still expect excellence, which this item is sorely lacking.
