I'd been wanting mitts as an alternative to the exfoliating gloves I use in the shower, so I decided to try these. I was less than impressed with them as shower mitts - I found that they were somehow scratchier on my skin when wet than they were when dry. I did try them for dry rubbing (like dry brushing) and found that I liked them much better for that purpose - mind you, I did this after trying them in the shower, so I don't know what, if any, effect the water and soap might have had in terms of softening the mitts up. The one thing I found odd and rather irritating is the strings they have attached - I couldn't figure out exactly why they were there, as they really served no purpose... perhaps to tie together before hanging to dry...? Whatever the case, they got in the way while I was using the mitts so, for me, they weren't needed. A simple loop on each mitt would have made more sense.

These are lovely! I regularly exfoliate with both a body brush and a loofah, but these are in a wholly different class. Made to use after a long soak, they gently-but-thoroughly remove all of the surface layer of dead skin cells and leave your skin feeling astonishingly soft and looking polished. I don't use these as often as I do the brush and loofah, but they are amazing for a weekly at-home spa day. Despite their efficacy, the cloth used for these mitts is extremely gentle and a pleasure to use. You just insert your hand into the mitt, wrap the strap to keep it snug, tuck in the end, and get to work. A quick wash follows, then dry and apply your favourite lotion. Heaven! Made to last, these mitts machine wash and dry beautfully. Highly recommended!

I exfoliate quite a bit, so I don't really have a whole lot to slough off - but after using one of these mitts, my skin is extra smooth. :) We don't have a large water heater, so even though I vastly prefer showers, I decided to take a bath and soak for a bit before using them. It was a nice excuse to do some extra pampering. They're a little awkward to use. The strap is long and can get in the way if you don't tuck it in.

I like to exfoliate my skin when my self-tanner starts to fade to get all the traces of it off. Most exfoliators dont work a washcloth or loofah just dont seem to get the skin to shed. So I didnt have high hopes for this but boy, was I wrong. You get two mitts that feel like very tough old washcloths. Youre supposed to stand in the shower for 10-15 to get your skin soft and then you put the mitt on your hand and rub it on your skin. I did that and the old self-tanner and top layer of my skin just completely came off, leaving baby soft skin behind. You then use soap to wash away the traces of skin and youre done. This is like going to a Korean spa and having your skin sanded by the technicians there only you get to do it in the comfort and privacy of your own shower. Its made in Turkey. Fantastic product Im a convert for life!

I love this exfoliating set of Turkish mitts! Make sure to soak in the warm water for around 15 minutes to loosen up your skin & moisten it, start by rubbing the mitt/cloth gently at first until you get used to the feel of it. I use this after getting out of our pool when I'm in the shower, out greenhouse to remove the heavy sunscreen as well as exfoliating. I also was told to purchase this by my dermatologist as she said I had some "rough & bumpy" areas on my upper arms & thighs. Let me tell you, WOW these work!!! Be certain to use a moisturizer when you step out of the shower or tub, the results are amazing. My skin is already showing signs of improvement in this rough areas, & my legs are silky smooth! Highly recommended!! Nice quality product, at a very acceptable price!
