Good standoff for a lightweight PTZ camera

This is adequate for users that need to mount a PTZ camara away from the wall or attachment point using the standard camera/tripod mounting screw and attachment point. I'm pleased with the way it works

Better than I thought

This adapter is better than I expected it to be. I actually like it. I have other adapters from my GoPro cam but it didn't sit right with the insta 360 x3. This is really sturdy and it positions the camera on whatever angle you want. 100% recommend.

Inexpensive and handy.

I have been using it primarily with a cellphone camera mount. In this light duty application it works well giving flexibility for camera placement. Its probably sturdy enough for small d-SLR cameras but I have not tested it yet. I would say this is a good bargain.

Nice but light duty only

This is a nice ball head for light duty work with small cameras. The crank to tighten the ball is very low to the base so when attaching it to a base or tripod not much clearance to tighten. Also, the ball attachment also has a screw in connection that holds it to the camera 1/4" attachment and that can come loose easily when trying to release the camera. Mine got stuck trying to release the camera and unscrewed from the ball first.. I tried it on a Canon 80D with large lens to test it and thus my conclusion . Perfect for smaller cameras and light duty. For that scenario I would recommend it.

Great as pictured BUT....

This is an exceptionally well built little ball head. the locking thumb screw is large and comfortable and all the parts are beautifully finished. I liked it so much I decided to buy 2 more as the price was great for the quality. BUT, when I received the next two they were totally different than the first. Small, weak and with the locking screw being tiny and folding down so as to make it difficult to use. In short, junk. I sent them back and received my refund but really wanted two more of the great ones. I waited a week and re-checked the listing and found the photo showing the original one and decided to try again. I ordered two more and mentioned in a note that I would only accept the one as pictured. Guess what I received. Two more exactly like the two that I had sent back. Rather than waste my time returning them, I threw them in the trash. Just be forewarned.
