I purchased this USB 2.0 extension cable to charge my Pixel 6 phone with my Anker PowerCore+ 26800 (A1372) battery pack. On a direct connection to the battery pack, my Pixel 6 charges efficiently at 5.0V, around 4.9W, and approximately 1146mA. However, when I introduced this extension cable into the setup, the charging efficiency took a nosedive. Despite maintaining the same voltage of 5.0V, the wattage plummeted to a range of 0.3W-0.8W, and the current fluctuated erratically between 156mA and even negative values. #### Possible Reasons for Inefficiency: 1. **Resistance**: A cable shouldn't introduce so much resistance that it severely affects charging capabilities, especially when it's less than 3 feet long. 2. **Cable Quality**: The cable might be poorly constructed, affecting its capability to deliver the required current for efficient charging. #### Suggestions for Potential Buyers: - **Quality Check**: Consider testing the cable with multiple devices to ensure it meets your charging requirements. - **Cable Specs**: Make sure the cable can handle the power and data requirements of your devices before purchase. Looks and works perfect. Bought this to test on an older backpack before I get a new backpack. The material of the casing is thick but a bit flexible, and just soft enough to sew through with a regular needle. Really glad I picked this up, and will be buying another one to add to my new backpack.
