I bought this to fix a couple iron on patches that I really didn't want to sew. At first everything seemed good. Then a couple days later I washed the vest the patches were on. I now HAVE to sew them on. The glue failed everywhere it was used.

It works perfectly, no stains, glues very nicely.

This is a great product to have. I used a similar product years ago that was also good, but this one is more economical. I have used this on various fabrics. It is very good at stabilizing the fabrics although the heavier fabrics will require more. It is also great at closing gaps or holes in fabrics. My main problem wasn't necessarily how this works, but the fact that the fabrics often developed hole adjacent to the area that was glued by this. That is a problem with the fabrics themselves, but it can effect how your problems will be solved. I also find that the areas that have been glued together or reinforced with this glue can become stiff and often scratchy. I like the tiny hole for precise application. I can say that overall, if you are repairing a fragile fabric, it will only form a hole right next to the old one. With a heavy fabric it will hold, but may not be comfortable to wear. So be aware of the fabric, location and use of this glue and it can be very useful!

Great glue that actually sticks on fabrics and leather. Be careful not to get it on places you don't want it on because it's almost impossible to get it off.

I have a strange hobby. I collect neckties. Cheap ones, ugly ones, you name it - as long as they're not fat-bottomed ones that are out of style. Unfortunately, the cheap ones often only have a few strands of thread tacking together the thin end of them, so they often fray and unfold at the bottom. I didn't want to have all of them sewn, so I thought I'd try some fabric glue. First of all, make sure to read the instructions! This isn't your white-bottle orange-top school glue. And, don't use too much of it. Use it sparingly and according to the instructions, and it will work well for very basic fabric adhesion. I would imagine it would work well for embroidered patches which I would assume is the most widespread application of the stuff. It worked for me and my ties. It did the job. I'm pleased.
