I bought these after purchasing a new Corsair K70 RGB Pro with OPX switches because my wife lasted two days before losing her mind from the clickety clack. I saw reviews that said the key puller was OK but could be better. If you put the key puller on as intended and slightly rotate it, it will grab under opposing corners and lift the key right up with ease. I included a photo to explain. Trying to lift straight from the sides not so much. I put two o-rings under the keys I specifically use for gaming, the rest of the keys I put one. Two thumbs up! Oh, use clear for RGB or lighted keyboards. Colored o-rings affect the colors.

I recently bought a new lower end mechanical keyboard for color and form-factor. Since it was a lower end it was a bit noisy. They are blue switches (clicky), but the keyboard also 'clacked' when key bottomed out and had a 'ping' when typing quickly. I put 2 of these rings on each key/post (some keys have more than 1 like the space bar). I had enough rings for each key to have 2 and had 6 left over. They had no impact on the lighting (that I can tell) and have removed the 'clack' sound and dampened the 'ping' sound. The keyboard is still loud, but the rings helped make typing feel a little better and reduced noise some. I think it is well worth the price. Keep in mind, it isn't a night and day difference, especially if you have blue switches, but it definitely can help with noise and a little comfort.

If you're buying these to help reduce noise on bottoming out on keys, don't bother. It does not help much for sound. Let me elaborate. I'm using Corsair K70 with cherry MX speed switches. I bottom out on these linear switches all the time when I type and game. I bought these o-rings to help dampen the noise and soften the keystroke. These o-rings do help with softening up the keystroke giving you a squishier landing when you bottom out. This is actually a very pleasant change from hitting the bottom without the o-rings. However, I found that using one o-ring does not help at all with sound. The sound was almost the same in my opinion. I ended up doubling up on these o-rings, using two o-rings per key. This actually produced a much softer sound but also made the keystroke more squishy than using just one o-ring. I recommend trying both methods to see which you prefer. I ended up using two o-rings per key since I didn't mind the extra squishy feel as I will be migrating this K70 towards work and not gaming anymore. Hope this helps.

These ring dampeners make a difference but a minor one that can be hard to quantify, especially in a loud environment. If you have a hard time hearing the difference then they're likely not an important asset for you. This came with a keycap puller, a plastic case and the rings in a small plastic bag. There were said to be 200 but I didn't count, there were more than I needed though. They fit on the stems of my keycaps easily and went deeper in one in use. There was an audible difference, though as mentioned before, a minor one. These are namely there to reduce the sound while depressing the key to the greatest extent, resulting in a clacking sound. The function is the reduce the resonance and impact of that by absorbing the vibration from the actuation. The keycap puller was a nice addition especially since my last keycap puller didn't come with the metal extensions extended and required a dexterous method to wrap it around each keycap within a timely manner. Overall, the product was great, affordable and highly recommended.
