Nice sturdy pens with high quality paint. Work well and flow easily. Good value.

These work great for making cut lines on steel pipe, to be fabbed.

These pens work well but i have only just started to use them so i don't know how well they last. The black pen is a real black color but the white pen that i got is like a off white to silver color even though the box does say white. it is fine though because i just wanted them to label HDMI cables and other electronics not for art.

I really don't know why, but I feel very lucky with these markers, considering other comments. I use them for marking iron and other metals for cutting, and they work great for me. I use white for dark iron, and black for aluminum or stainless steel. I don't know if it's important, but I'll tell you that I always keep them upright, with the point down, when I'm not using them.

Based on the three markers thus used, out of a box of five, I cant understand how these markers have gotten such good reviews. While the color, opacity (medium, similar to white oil based Sharpie) and flow (with regular nip) is okay, the box of white paint markers I received leave debris all over the painted surface, so a smooth surface is impossible to get. That might not matter for some things, but I find it very frustrating. Also, the nips are the worst Ive come across in oil based paint markers. After they get fairly saturated with paint, they shed and they are ill fitting (if shaken during painting, without the top on they fly out of the barrel). I thought that the shedding nips was why so much fuzz was left on the painted surface and while that is an issue, when I switched out the nip for another brands non-shedding nip, the debris continues to flow onto painted surface, so it seems to be in the paint itself too. The boxes I got came with extra nips for very fine point detail painting and they are made with a different non-shedding material, but the diameter and length, make them even worse fitting than the regular nips, as they fall out constantly when picked up from the surface to move the marker and the paint leaks all over the place. Cant speak to the black paint markers, but would not recommend this brand for any art project.
