I needed a hard sleeve for my 16 Asus ROG gaming laptop (2023 16 Asus ROG - G614JI-XS96). In the pictures youll see two cases. On the right (black) is Smatree which said to fit my model perfectly, and on the left (blue) is the FINPAC case. Both are VERY nice with great build quality and protection. But as you can see my laptop fits in the FINPAC much better than it does in the smatree. Also the inner lining is nicer, and feels like it provides better protection. I didnt feel comfortable with the fact that I had to stretch the Smatree case over my laptop to MAKE it fit. With the FINPAC it closed & zipped easily. So if you have a bulky gaming laptop and need that extra protection, I highly recommend this case.

I just bought a MacBook Air 13 inch and I liked that this case was hard on the outside, soft on the inside, and had thick hard protection on the sides and corners. My Air fits well in the pocket, I did see some reviews saying the MacBook Pro may be a tight fit so keep that in mind. It does have some space inside, so when I push down in the middle it goes down, if that makes sense. So, it isn't rock hard but still very stiff so I assume it doesn't mess with the protectiveness. It works out for me as I can also put my iPad (12.9in) in the case (not the pocket) so if you also have an iPad, it will also fit!

This laptop sleeve works like a charm. I could drop it from my roof and probably the laptop would be okay ;) In all seriousness, the bag is very tough, durable and easy to clean. It smelled like a factory when I got it, but I let it air out for a day or so and the smell has mostly gone with use. My only issue is that the case is so durable that it makes my backpack a bit heavier than I would like, but I'm fine with it because the trade off is having my laptop highly protected. Don't waste your money on a soft case-- this one will keep your laptop safe and sound.

We tried three cases for a 2022 ASUS 14 OLED laptop and 2020 Apple 13 Macbook Air. We were looking for a robust case offering work-in-case and the maximum of protection. All of them were very good with at least a 4.5 average rating here on ZeeBooth, none of them was perfect. We chose the Nacuwa 13-14 inch computer carrying sleeve. The cases we considered were: Nacuwa 13-14 inch computer carrying sleeve Work-in-case suitability: Second-best of the three. Has elastic straps that limit opening of the two halves of the case to about a 110-degree angle. Must exercise care on closing case to make sure these straps dont remain between the laptop keyboard and screen during closing, else it is possible to crack the laptop screen. (We insert thumbs into the left and right side straps to keep the straps outside the closing laptop, and close the laptop with the fingers. Hard to describe, easy to figure out once youre faced with doing it.) Degree of protection: Tied with the FINPAC for best of the three. 4 protective layers arent just ad copy. The outer layer is resistant to flexing: Id feel pretty good about this in an overloaded backpack. Fit: Best of the three. A little bit of slop for the Zenbook, moreso for the Macbook, but still acceptable. Pluses: Best zipper of the three. (Zipper failures are mentioned for these kinds of cases, and weve seen such failures with previously-purchased cases.) All three cases had good quality zippers and integral fabric, but this one stood out. Minuses: Really wish the interior case straps didnt put the screen at risk. No handle or strap. Belkin Air Protect Laptop Case 14 Work-in-case suitability: The best of the three. Has a very clever, adjustable harness for the screen that really works, along with fabric straps to capture the keyboard. This is probably the best solution that anyone could have. Belkin also seems to have thought about air circulation more than the others. Id trust this for extended work while in the case more than the others. Closing the case is as simple as swinging the case shut. No worries. Degree of protection: Not bad, but the worst of the three. Not as rigid as I wish: wouldnt protect as well against bending stresses in an overloaded backpack. Not nearly as much of the padding as other cases. Would not protect against dropping as well. Fit: Belkin makes this in only two very different sizes, which is limiting if you want a decently close fit. This 14 case has 2 of slop in both dimensions on the Zenbook, and more on the Macbook. Pluses: Has a great cloth briefcase handle on the outside of the case. None of the others do. This is really helpful. Minuses: The degree of protection is just less than we felt was acceptable. FINPACK 13.5-14-inch Hard Laptop Sleeve Case Work-in-case suitability: Doesnt do well for this. I suppose you could open the case 360 degrees and place the laptop on top of the open case. Also I wonder how good the air circulation under the laptop is: the soft padding of the innermost layer is right up against the back of the laptop. For travel, the laptop is supposed to be in a lycra pouch inside the case, and would then have to be removed when the case was opened. Degree of protection: Fantastic, tied with the Nacuwa. 4 layers, but a different 4 than Nacuwa. Stiff outer layer. Fit: Some slop with both laptops. But there are several other sizes including one specifically for a 13-inch Macbook, so we couldve improved on this. Pluses: Great protection. Has a little handstrap near one corner, but it doesnt seem nearly as secure as the handle on the Belkin. Minuses: Just not a work-in-case option. And there are other cases available that are The ideal case: the Nacuwa with Belkins screen suspension system and briefcase handle. But since thats not available, were very happy to go with the Nacuwa.

Cases and accessories for the S8 Ultra are slim pickings at the moment so I was hesitant to order this, but so glad I did. The S8 Ultra will fit within the case with a slight gap, but if you have the keyboard cover on, this case will fit just about perfectly with no wiggle room. I have used it with and without the cover on and was satisfied with the case fit either way. The interior is a nice shock absorbing material with a honeycomb design to spread the impact of a drop or collision. There is also a pocket that you could use for a few sheets of paper, but you are not going to fit anything else inside thos case. If you're needing a more comprehensive carrier for accessories and such, look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a great sleeve type case to transport and carry your tablet around, you can't go wrong with this one. The zippers are sewn in and high quality metal that help ensure a good seal. It maintains a sleek and slim profile, but it is a bit on the heavier side which is something to consider. The exterior material fits tightly around the case unlike many competitors where the item pictures show a nice smooth exterior, but in actual use they're wrinkled and you can tell there is excess material used so the material only becomes taut once it is packed to its carrying limits. Factor in the reasonable price point and this is the best case I have found, especially for anyone looking for something to haul the S8 Ultra around.
