My 2yo loved doing this, and after picking the fur, shed simply put it in the bag so it wasnt messy for us like others have mentioned. Obviously its fur being picked out of a plush toy so adult supervision is necessary if you dont want the pieces everywhere. My daughter took her time pulling gently and it came right out. Im not sure what others were talking about as far as it being hard to pull since my 2yo daughter was doing it with little difficulty. There were a couple of strands along the stitch lines that wouldnt come out so I had to cut those with scissors. Also, the popsicles were stitched together and not easy to pull apart; so I had to cut that as well which is why I took a star away on this review. Overall, I would definitely repurchase this popsicle one and other fluffie stuffiez. Most stuffed animals are dust collectors but this was a refreshing and interactive take on a plush toy. I enjoyed it myself. It was very calming, and we felt a sense of accomplishment when completed. The fluffie was a hit with kids and they had a ball discovering what was underneath. The cleanup was not so good. Granted, it was kids making the mess but then fluffie was tracked thru house. Mire of an outside gift to play with. Lesson learned!

Generally I think the premise for the toy is a bit odd. But I'm not a child, what do I know? - Well I know it's messy. Lint rollers are a must. Also it's hard to pull all the fuzz off. My son gave up after a while and completely lost interest.

I found the whole process kind of annoying. I really thought the idea was so cute and neat, but experiencing it firsthand with my niece made me regret my purchase. The buddy itself is adorable, but taking the fuzz off wasnt fun and filling the little bag did not leave her with another satisfying stuffy/toy. Its just something she isnt allowed to play with in order to avoid the multiple fuzzies from escaping and creating chaos throughout the house, on our clothes, and in my dogs stomach. There are too many cute stuffy-type toys out there that this one isnt worth choosing (unless you or your child needs something to put deliberate and patient focus on, then its perfect except for the neon colored fuzzy stray pieces).
