Extended my Fosi BT10A Bluetooth Amp

I needed just a little bit more range to allow me to connect my Fosi amp to my iPhone to play Spotify on my side porch . Doing some quick testing I found it gave me about 10 more range. I only needed 5 so it a worked out for me.

Does the job

Used with Fosi BT20A to replace the small stock antenna, works a lot better. We're able to stream FLAC over Bluetooth with no problems from our deck to the receiver indoors. Before, the audio would constantly glitch and drop out.

Great for bluetooth reception from mac mini

I have the 1Mii ds220 and bluetooth was poor/nonexistent from mac mini (worked fine from imac). I got this antenna and noticed a large improvement from the stock antenna. Recommend a try if youre having reception issues with the ds220.

Actually work

Have a crappy motherboard that came with no antenna's and had horrible bluetooth and wifi connections. Now these got the job done. Ive used the wifi for a long time but not anymore ( dont need it). The bluetooth is still being used and working just as new.

Have been using for a few days and...

Ok. After reading the other reviews I figured for $8 I'd give this Bluetooth antenna a try. I bought this to replace my current Bluetooth antenna on my Yamaha receiver in our family room. I stream music from an app on my phone to the receiver and with the old antenna the music was constantly cutting out. After removing the old antenna I went to install the new one. "Theoretically" the new one should just screw into the antenna port. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I received two antennas with this order. I worked for about 5 minutes trying to get the first antenna I tried to screw into the port with no luck. I finally gave up and switched to the second antenna. Again I had trouble trying to get the antenna screwed into the port without cross threading the threads. After using a lot more pressure than I was comfortable with I was able to get the antenna screwed on enough that it wouldn't fall off. This took a total of about 15 minutes. Now for the good news. After getting this antenna in place I opened my phone app and started streaming music to the receiver. Since installing the new antenna I've had zero issues with music cutting out or skipping while streaming to the receiver. I've moved the phone around and even left the family room and took the phone into a couple different bedrooms and the music continued playing without issue. So overall I'm happy with the purchase. The signal is GREATLY improved. My big complaint (and I did see this mentioned in other reviews) is getting it screwed in. If the company could fix this issue with the antenna they would have a hands down winner in the replacement Bluetooth antenna market. So just be prepared for a possible struggle getting it installed, but you should be happy with the signal once that's completed.
