I got the Fotasy Exakta/Auto Topcor-to-Nikon Z lens adapter. Its pretty well made, but an Auto-Topcor lens will NOT LOCK into this adapter. It is pretty tight, frankly, the lens is not loose in the adapter, but it is not locked in place, and it can disengage if you get careless. I tried both a Topcor 58mm f/1.8 and a Topcor 135mm f/3.5 on this adapter and neither one of these lenses will lock into this adapter the way a lens would in a vintage Topcon camera body. Thus, if you use this adapter, you must be careful that it is tight enough so that the lens will not fall right out of it. I decided to keep it because its cheap and because I will not use the Topcor lenses very often. I will lilely use these on a tripod anyway, and that makes a difference. But if I wanted to use the Topcor lenses all the time, I would look elsewhere. Vintage Topcor optics are very excellent and hooking them up to an excellent digital platform like a Nikon Z is worthwhile, just be careful when using this adapter. You decide!

It's fine. It's just poorly built/designed. Barebones at best. Yes, your lens will likely mount alright (in my case for this one specifically, Exakta mount for adapting Topcor RE glass to Nikon mirrorless). The release latch for the bayonet is TINY... far smaller than any lens or adapter I've ever seen. It's just barely enough to be functional, though depending on the lens you may have to use your fingernail in the gab to get it to release because it's soooo small it often doesn't clear the exterior of the given lens barrel. Other than it's heavier than I'd like it to be for as bare as it is. The interior isn't ridges or flocked in any way shape or form so there are visible light reflections occurring. Etc, etc. Yes it'll work but if you're placing 1, 2 or 3 hundred dollar (or some I'm sure are mounting even spendier vintage glass) lens onto a thousand or two thousand and up mirrorless camera.... well, spend another 20 or 40 bucks for a well made adapter (K&M, Fotodiox are always quite good on the low end, Rayqual and Metabones the best IMO on the high end) ... I mean. Why wouldn't you? I tried a couple of these Fotasy piece because so many people use them and say they're great. They're not.
