Cheap and durable (a week later from time of purchase)

Have a few Minolta lenses (MC 28mm f/2.8, MC 50mm f/1.4 & MD 45mm f/2) to mount on my Canon RP & experiment with. I'm quite impressed with the images that I've produced thanks to this lens adapter; don't pass up on this adapter just because of its cheap price, it's just as good, if not on par, with the expensive ones like Fotodiox, Houge or K&F Concept and I've yet to see something break.

It works!!!

Bought this adapter to use with my Canon R10 and it works flawlessly. You do have to go into the menu and enable release shutter without lens because there is no metal contacts to tell the camera there is a lens on, but beside that it works great. I had 2 old manual lenses and I tested them both out. Considering buying another adapter so I don't have to keep taking it on and off since they are inexpensive. Would be nice if it had some type of weather seal but for the price I can't complain to much.

Robust, good secure fit

I had purchased a HAOGE adapter, similar in that they are both for adapter Minolta MD lenses to a Canon RF mount body. The Haoge mounted the Minolta lens but never had a solid click indicating it was securely locked in place, and mounted the Minolta lens with the manual aperture ring rotated to the bottom of the lens. Additionally the lens almost fell off twice when I was attempting to focus it. The FOTASY mounts the lens securely with a solid click, and has the aperture ring facing up, as it is supposed to be. It worked equally well with three different Minolta lenses on a Canon RF (R7) body. I am updating this review after 6 months of working with Forays adapters and they are still solid. In addition to the Fotasy Minolta MD to Canon RF adapter I also have one that adapts Minolta lenses to MicroFour Thirds. They are excellent with solid, sturdy build quality and superb materials, and I don't have anything negative to say. But I should emphasize that these are dumb adapters without any electronics to relay signals.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the aperture to work with some older lenses - I made a review with wrong info - I will update this shortly.

Works fine!

I have a couple of Minolta or MD mount lens (135mm and 70-210mm) and was not sure if the RF mount adapter was going to work correctly but it does, give the right amount of space between sensor and the lens so you wont have any problem with infinity focus. If you have several lens I would recommend to buy an adapter for each, cause depending on how the lens were built can be a little tricky to mount and dismount the adapter.
