So many disappointments; where do I begin?

First of all, the good: the sound quality is great; music comes through from my phone and sounds awesome, though I confess I have not yet taken a call with it. Fingers crossed. The picture quality is also great; very sharp and focused. So, the disappointments ... where to begin!? 1. The camera has a mic, but it's on the device! That's right, it does not hook up to the helmet mic. Seriously, how lame is that! Who wants to hear wind noise? I was hoping to be able to talk while recording. Ugh. 2. The camera power is separate from the device power, meaning the camera can be on when the device is not. Also lame! This is a great way to use up the MicroSD card, not to mention the battery life. 3. The speakers are very thick; it's difficult to find a spot for them that doesn't cause them to push against my ears, something that over time can be painful. Not OUCH painful, but annoying bug-bite painful. 4. The latch/hook material on the back of the speakers is not flat; I had to put extra material under the speakers to ensure what is on the speakers latches to what is in the helmet, making issue #3 even worse. 5. Having a single toggle-type switch sharing the volume control and the previous/next song controls makes it impossible to make minor volume adjustments. When you try you instead get the next or previous song. Grrr. 6. The factory "power on"/"power off"/"camera on"/etc. voice does not adjust with the volume of the device, and it is so low as to be barely perceptible, especially on a Harley. If you accidentally hit the WiFi button, as I did, and the music quits, it's all but impossible to get back to MP3 without pulling over because you can't hear any prompts for the other button pushes. Is it on? Is it off? What's going on? SMH I'm sure there were other things, but as I was riding I obviously could not write them down, and since the camera doesn't hook to the camera mic I couldn't record them. I likely won't use this as a WiFi intercom, as a) I ride alone and b) I don't expect to run into anyone with one of these, so I can't say anything about that functionality. For my purposes, as a BT interface to my phone while riding, this device works, though it's not any better than the old X1 I had that came with the helmet. The camera was a primary reason for choosing this one, as I don't want a head-top-mount or chin-mount, nor do I want a "dash cam" on the bike. Heads up to anyone looking at this device: keep looking, and be willing to spend a little more money. :/

mounted with the clamp with a little force. tightened up okay. comes with a Velcro mount too but I didn't try it. seems to me that it's designed for a 3/4 or a full face helmet but I got it to work.
