I had hoped these brushes would do what they say and fit in my Yorkies mouth but they are still really big and make it really hard to get in there and brush her teeth.

My dogs usually line up to brush their teeth and enjoy licking the toothpaste, especially when it's their favorite brand. I can tell when they don't like the toothpaste because they are not that eager about the process. We decided to give this one a try, and my dogs definitely do not like it. One of them even refused to finish letting us brush her teeth and she ran downstairs. The other ones barely got through it and didn't stick around to ask for more like they usually do. I guess they don't like the taste, and the odor is very strong and off-putting. Not really an odor that I think even a dog would enjoy. When I first opened it, I did end up throwing out the included toothbrushes. They are very cheaply made and of cheap plastic. We have another doggie toothbrush from a different brand we bought and use that instead. It's much nicer and resembles more of a human toothbrush with ridges on the bristles and a much better quality handle. Everything included in this package looks like something you could buy in the dollar store for a couple of cents. Wanted to at least get some use out of the toothpaste, but my dogs have the final say.

I got this because my dogs old toothbrush was ready to be replaced. I really only use the toothbrush out of this kit. My veterinarian said that you really only need the toothbrush. The toothpaste is really only for compliance purposes. It's just to get your dog to accept you brushing their teeth. Overall, a nice toothbrush set.

The toothbrush in the set is a typical doggie toothbrush and works fine. The finger brush and massager are too big for many dogs mouths. The paste has ingredients that I personally would never use. The first ingredient is sorbitol (a sweetener) and is put in there so your dog will like the taste because dogs love sweet things. Then it has an abrasive, water, and then PEG-400, a component that many people try to avoid in their own products as well at their pets. The actual enzyme and beef flavor are not added until the final two ingredients in this toothpaste which means they are almost non-existent. There are much much better dog toothpastes out there on the market.

This is a really good toothpaste and toothbrush kit. I chihuahua like the beef flavored toothpaste and she doesn't mind the finger toothbrush. My dog breath smells slightly better. I'm going to continue using this toothpaste regularly.
