A Touch Of Africa At Home!

The inclusion of peppermint makes Harissa a somewhat unusual spice for American palates, but I would highly recommend it for those who want a taste of Africa. It is absolutely delicious, especially in dishes with black olives. So grateful that Frontier makes an organic version so that I can bring this African spice to life at home.

Perfect for Exotic Recipes

I went through a phase that called for spicy seasonings and kept seeing 'Harissa' seasoning. I did find quite a lengthy, involved recipe to make your own seasoning but that would require the purchase of multiple seasonings I probably wouldn't use again, or use rarely. I found it here, on ZeeBooth of course, and it's perfect for recipes calling for Harissa. It is a very strong, spicy, hot seasoning. If you are into that, you'll love this.

Frontier Quality is excellent.

I usually make my own Harissa from sourced ingredients, but out of sheer curiosity wanted to give Frontiers blend a try and boy am I glad I did. I love frontier brand spices and their commitment to organic and fair trade growing, but was skeptical on how they would do with global blends. They knock this one out of the park. I make mine a bit spicier, but this is a great blend for soups, lentils, anything that can use that Harissa punch. Thanks for another great product Frontier!

GREAT PRODUCT

I just wanted to give it 5 stars and be done with the review, but they require a description on ZeeBooth...so I'll post my mom's secret chocolate chip cookie recipe here instead (not so secret anymore, is it, Mom!?): 4 cubes butter, softened 2 heaping cups dark brown sugar (packed, then heap that shiz) cups white sugar 2 tablespoons vanilla 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoons baking soda 3 eggs 6 cups flour 1 bag chocolate chips (semi-sweet or sweet) Mix BY HAND all ingredients, except flour and chips (mixing by hand makes them taste better, trust me). Then add flour and chips and stir BY HAND. Bake @ 350 for 9-11 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. Enjoy the preciouses. Note: makes a buttload of cookies, so you might want to halve the recipe.
