Good buy

I do like the product/brush, but when I use it on my cats, the fur does not really stay on the brush. The fur goes to toward the tail and you actually have to either take your hands and grab the loose fur, or take a another bristle brush to take up the fur/hair. Lots of fly away fur. But it does make their fur so soft.

Let me start by saying I volunteer at a rabbit rescue and this brush is effective to pull up loose undercoat (back side) and pull out all the already loose hair (front side, held sideways), while being gentle enough to not bother most of them. I have tried many brushes, and this is a best-in-class product If you care about getting the hair out, this will do it. HOWEVER, AS WITH ANY TOOL, YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT IT IS, AND WHAT IT IS NOT This is not a wicker brush, and the hair does not stay trapped in the tool. It gets everywhere. I recommend doing the de-shedding outside. The back is for undercoat. It is great at that. It is decent as a furniture spot cleaner, too, but it is about 1/4 as effective as those red velvet pet hair rollers. Don't expect a miracle. It is relatively small. This is a good thing - if it were larger the surface area from the silicone would pull on the coat more and make my buns uncomfortable. This does mean it takes a little bit more time. However, it is comfortable enough for my rabbits that they'll sit still much longer, so I don't mind. It is soft silicone. Store it in a cool dry place, and it'll last. If you keep it out in direct sunlight, it'll probably start to crumble after a while. That's just how the material behaves. If your pets don't like it, start with the front side (long-ways) and just be gentle with it.

My dog loves this

This silicone brush is great for brushing and bathing. I have a doodle and it really helps loosen up hair that has shed when you brush dry, a bonus is that he loves it. It also is really great for sudsing shampoo in the bath. I find myself using a lot less product when I have this with me.

Works wonders on my GSP!! I didnt realize there was so much hair living on my pup!! This brush works great dry or in the bath. Definitely helps with shedding.
