This Genuine Fred slow feeder cat bowl is so cute! It's a bit bigger than I was expecting but that's alright with me. I love how this bowl looks like a fish. I have a kitten, and he eats his kibble way too fast. This bowl definitely helps to slow him down while he's eating. It's also a great way to provide mental enrichment for him and his growing brain.

The design is cute; however, my cats have a really hard time trying to get the food or treats out of it.

I got this because one of my cats will ALWAYS eat too fast when I give her wet food, and end up inevitably puking. Well... no such problem now! I've given her wet food in this bowl two to three times so far without a problem. She made a huge mess when eating once, but I think that's because she didn't give me a chance to spread the food evenly. i was worried it would be difficult to clean, but you can soak it in water for a little bit and everything comes right off.

This slow feeder is pretty good. It has helped with my cat's digestion so he doesn't vomit regularly anymore, which is the biggest reason to get one of these slow feeders. Plus it's a fun fish shape! It holds more than a day's worth of dry food for a single cat. It's a good, sturdy plastic that can survive a few drops. Cleaning can be a little difficult with a full sponge, but using a paper towel works just fine. Pretty good and pretty cheap!

First, this thing is incredibly useful in getting your cat to stop eating so quickly. Our cats are just little gluttons and would inhale their food if able. They eat so fast it often leads to vomiting which we then have to clean up before they eat it again. So... yeah, this thing works and our cats HATE it. That's a good thing. It's cutely designed and seems pretty sturdy so far. The plastic seems like it should be easy to clean with a wipe, but it's tough to get into the little nooks created by the fish bones. Our big cat cannot reach the food in those crevices and will sometimes resort to clawing it out, which ends up making a mess. But for our more petite cat, it's perfect and slows her down quite a bit (and also keeps her from sneaking off and stealing from the other's bowl).
