I'm in the process of adopting another dog and when I saw this chain available as a promotional I ordered it. I did not realize how large and heavy it is. The dog I am getting is 44lbs and I don't think it will fit her. I think this would be better for a large breed with a big neck like an English Bulldog or American Staffordshire Terrier. I've noticed some people leave the chains longer, more like a necklace, so it would work for that, but only for a larger dog that can handle the weight. I'll end up using this for something else like hanging a planter. It's good quality, no rough spots, really nice.

Product runs small. Other then that I returned to purchase a larger size. Would recommend.

This slip collar is really nice quality but I should have gotten a smaller size for my medium dog. This will slip right off him if he has no tension on it. The chains are really large also. This would be an appropriate size for a dog 60LBs plus.

I am impressed with how sturdy this collar is and how smoothly it slides. I purchased it for paytime with my partner and it is perfect. It tightens without pinching and releases without catching when I am no longer pulling on it. I have had issues with other collars getting stuck or pinching because they were cheaply made or too lightweight. This has 100% met my expectations. It is a good price as well. I suppose it would work for a pet as well... What a weird thing to do with it though.

This gold chain looks so pretty on my brown/tan boy. 24" hangs nicely sitting low on his neck like a gold chain would on a human. He is a 95lb shepherd for reference. Works nicely as a collar too, but not to be used for reactive pups as this will tighten indefinitely. The O rings are huge which is unlike the H.S. long link collars. I didn't actually notice that the rings were so large in the photo but rather when I opened up the box. It doesn't look bad, it was just unexpected. If they were a 1/4 inch smaller I think it would look best, they are ever so slightly wonky in size. I actually think the small H.S. O ring at the end of a long link chain looks a bit odd too, like they are too small. With use, the gold may come off, I am unsure. If this does happen, I will definitely update the review. For functionality, 22" would be a better fit for my size dog, but I got it to be worn as a necklace mainly, so I like the 24" on him.
