everything was in good condition, the adhesive was very useful with the blue color. sometimes don't work as well as I thought but after a second layer, everything is good

The media could not be loaded. This stuff is pure magic! I was so afraid to even try it. Havent tried the sealer yet but the glue was great-use very sparingly, and the gold was crazy awesome. Very fragile. Just laid it right on the glue no problem! Like the brushes too

My first time using gold leaf and I have to say; I'm hooked. It sticks to my fingers a bit but the items I used it on are in my living room and I do plan to do more work with it most likely in the summer. Five stars for gorgeous and five stars for stunning.

I expected this to be a drama project but it wasnt that bad. I read an instructional video on instructables.com and then gave it a shot. First I painted the statue (which was originally silver leaf) with saffron yellow craft paint (not included with this kit) in case I missed a spot. Thatsa top from the article I read. Then applied the glue, waited 15-20 min, and applied the gold foil, brushing it into place. I used a brushing motion on the flat areas and a poking motion in the crevices. It came out great! This project took about 18 sheets of foil. I havent applied the clear top coat yet, but Ill be doing that next. Note: I had no idea what the enclosed spray bottle was for. Then I figured out its for the clear top coat. Directions were mixed. I said 1/3 water to 1 part clear coat on the bottle, but the box said 1/10 water to 1 part clear coat on the box. I used the 1/3 and it went through the spray bottle fine and dries quickly.
