I was a little surprised when I opened this package and the dishcloths felt damp. This is normal. These dishcloths are great for wiping down things around the house and doing dishes. Essentially these are paper towel replacers and they work great! I've gotten several uses out of each dishcloth, I recommend.

I'm kind of scratching my head at folks who say these are so amazing, as far as I can tell, it fills the same purpose as a sponge, but in a different shape/size. It doesn't have a scrubber side so I still need a sponge/scrubber. There are no instructions around cleaning it, so unlike a cloth dishrag, I don't think I can just drop it in the wash to clean it and truly reuse it long term. It's fairly large and doesn't stay folded on its own, so you just have it... laying on top of your sink when you aren't using it? I have no idea where to put this, it's huge compared to a sponge and I don't want something like this sitting on my counter. And in terms of environment, it seems like it will have the same lifespan as a sponge, it seems to be made out of a similar material, and without washing instructions, it's also getting thrown out. So I really don't get the point of this at all. That said, if these *are* something you like, this pack seems sturdy, and they did a fine job washing my dishes and pots and pans, same as a sponge. But without the scrubber side, I still needed my sponge, so... J.Ja

I love Swedish dish cloths, and have used nothing but them since I first discovered them. This package provides several and thats great. In my previous purchases, they come dry, dehydrated. The initial use requires that the customer wet and hydrate them. They then return to that same bone dry state. These however, came almost premoistened in the package, so unusual. This may be inconsequential, but with those that come dehydrated, they also dry to that same bone dry state. With that, I know I get an anti-bacterial affect with the towel. They never smell and they never leave a slimy feel. I have yet to see that affect with this Swedish towel. It does not seem to dry fully to that bone dry state. Therefore Im unable to confirm that it will have the antibacterial result like those Ive used in the past. So far, there has been no foul smell, even though the cloth does not dry completely. To this point I have no complaints, therefore, would recommend them. All Swedish towels are apparently not created equal. I just dont know what the difference may be yet.
