Reasonably absorbent, one side soft and one side is a little ruff which helps with scrubbing. Will buy again when needed.

These are good for cleaning. The pic looks thick, but they are not as thick as they look. Nevertheless, they serve the purpose. I was surprised to find that the manufacturer recommend cleaning the cloths in COLD water. I find that peculiar. But, the price is good and I can see getting a lot of use out of them. Because of the instructions for cleaning the cloths, I can't give a high recommendation. I would prefer cleaning these cloths with hot water. But, thus far no problems.

I dry my hands with them and pick up the occasional spill of whatever I am cooking or drinking. I want to emphasize that these cloths are for light cleaning and spill-pickup and respecting that will get you the most out of them - efficiency and longevity-wise. I have described my home use but know the janitorial staff at my work use these ubiquitously and no doubt many of you can think about many hard surfaces that need to be wiped or cleaned.
