I havent noticed Much of a difference but its been a month

First time taking Gymnema Sylvestre. Taking for cholesterol and inflammation If it's doing anything for either; only time will tell. Have ordered many different Wild & Organic tinctures and have great faith in their quality. Will re-order as needed. ABOUT ME AND SUPPLEMENTS: Supplements are sometimes easy to attribute a positive or negative though mostly they aren't attributable over months if ever. I will try my best to review on what I see if I do and update if I find a change. Supplements I'm generally not overjoyed with or that I have faith in the quality of as well as how economical they are to continue - I will not take past the bottle I'm using and thus won't update unless I revisit this not likely any time soon. I have been taking numerous supplements for decades and several more for many years. Lately I have started some new supplements mixing in with existing. I favor simple supplements with one or a few active ingredients that way I can decide how much of what I am taking. In general supplements with tons of ingredients and especially ones that are aimed at one thing yet contain numerous supplements with little to no added benefits are worrisome. I do not need (for example) to worry about getting 100 or 400 (whatever) each times the B vitamins needed in a day from five or ten or more different supplements. In experimenting I am usually taking for days or weeks some supplements then switching for a different brands equivalent noting differences if any. Some I don't have an alternative and will use the entire amount without other brands in the mix.

Supplements aren't approved by the FDA and usually don't have enough studies or conclusive data to prove the effects they're thought to have. That doesn't mean they don't work. Nobody with any sense is going to take the word of a stranger on the internet about the quality or effectiveness of something like this. If you're here considering this, you should know what you expect from it and if it's safe for you. With that in mind, I'm going to focus on the aspects of this product that I'm qualified to talk about which would be the packaging and the taste/ease of taking. As for the packaging, I'll say it's top-notch. There's a solid cardboard box surrounding a cardboard insert protecting a bottle. Despite the bottle being glass, I'm going to say your delivery driver would have to *try* to break this, even if it comes in a less than secure shipping package. The bottle has a very effective tamper-proof seal and the lid is the dropper. I had no idea what to expect from the flavor but like other items I've reviewed from this seller, they suggest you add it to a drink. With that in mind, I again took one for the team and tried this straight on the tongue. The immediate taste was pleasant and almost reminded me of honey but it was immediately followed up by a strong bitter after-taste. I needed to wash it down with something to get rid of that. Diluting it in a cup of hot tea, I couldn't taste it at all so putting it in something would be the way to go. I can attest that a dropper full of this and at least two other things from this company in the same cup of tea seems to have no meaningful impact on the tea for me so unless you're in a hurry, that's how I'd do this. I'm keeping mine in the kitchen. They claim that this being in liquid form, it is faster acting. I don't know about that but it seems a reasonable claim and if your adverse to swallowing pills, this is a great alternative. With a reasonable price and the ease with which it can be consumed, if you're looking for a Gymnema Sylvestre supplement, I think this is a great option.

My doctor recommended this to make sweet foods aversive and it works! When I want carbohydrates (aka- sugar) I put a dropper full of this in 2 oz water and swish it in my mouth for a few seconds before swallowing (like the directions say). After that, anything sweet tastes awful! And it lasts 2-3 hours.

I am so disappointed. Years ago I bought this same type of product from someone else and it worked like a charm...meaning I would taste the drops and they would NOT taste good and do what it is supposed to do. That is, dull or make the taste of sweets taste bad, bitter, or unsavory & NOT SWEET. However, just taking these drops undiluted and often, it tastes GOOD, it tastes sweet. And it does nothing to make a bite of sugar/sweet food taste savory or bad. It's soooo weird! Very sad, I was so looking forward to getting back on this stuff to curb my after meal sweet attack. GRRRR. If the companies reading this, please reach out? Maybe this batch I received reversed the process and something went wrong??? Thanks for listening.
