I ordered this 2 pack of silver and gold claw clips to help keep my hair up and out of the way when I am getting ready in the mornings. These claw clips are sturdy and solid. I feel the kids won't be able to break these clips easily if they accidentally get their hands on them unlike my plastic clips. The spring in these is tight and takes a fair bit of grip strength to open, however, that means they will have a secure hold on the hair and will stay in place. I do wish the tabs where you grip the clip with your fingers were longer as they dig into the flesh a little when opening the clip. Also, the silver is a good match but the gold isn't quite as bright as the pictures depict. Overall though, this is a nice two pack of claw clips with a secure hold perfect for daily use.
