This ham knife is a special kind of long knife used to cut slices of ham. After sharpening, the blade should always be wiped down with a cloth to remove any remaining metal residues on the surface. The honing steel measures 32.5 cm (12.8 in).
The set also includes a very light one-size-fits-all ham cover that allows the ham/shoulder to breathe and preserve its properties. It is made of nylon, a material used for producing textiles of great strength, hardness and elasticity.
