This game is FUNNY.

We got all of our kiddos board/card games for Christmas and this was what we chose for our son (9). This was soooo funny. We all had a ton of fun reading the cards and figuring out our dinosaurs. Rules are wordy, but just start playing. It gets so much simpler. I definitely recommend this game, but maybe go through the cards first to make sure there aren't any too edgy for your younger kiddos. We didn't personally have issues with any. Super fun and cute experience!

Really fun game with friends

Lots of fun, the rules arent confusing or complex, the dinosaurs are absolutely cute and the cards are absolutely funny. Its a great expansion to the original game. We got this to play with more friends and its been a delight to see more cards in play as well as new dinos to choose from.

This game is fun & easy to learn it could of been a little higher quality not sure how the cards and boards will hold up over time but that's not that big of a concern if you keep it put away in the box when not in use

Fun for whole family!

We ALL really enjoyed this game. Game play is a lot like the old card game War. Easy for my 6yr old to follow along with only minimal help reading the "instant" cards (which she pretty much memorized by our 3rd go around). My older boys (10&12) have taken turns bringing the game to school to play at recess everyday since we got it! They get a real kick outta the "cute but kinda evil" themes these games have. I think they are adorably funny! Games finish pretty quickly. We enjoy "best-outta-three" sessions so everyone has a chance to win! They also have a game play tutorial up on Youtube if anyone is struggling with understanding the rule book. I definitely recommend this game and will be going back to try some of the others!!

Joyful Prehistoric Fun Game for All Ages

So, my youngest kiddo is really into dinos, and I found this game called Happy Little Dinosaurs Base Game that I thought he'd love. And guess what? He does! It's a pretty cool game, with all these different challenges and stuff. It's all about being a dinosaur and doing things like finding food and avoiding meteors. It's kind of complicated, but still really fun. The game has a mix of strategy and luck, so you never know what's going to happen next. Plus, the artwork is super cute and the rules are easy to learn. We've played it a bunch of times now, and every time we have a blast. It's perfect for game night with the family or hanging out with friends. I'm telling you, Happy Little Dinosaurs is totally worth it - it'll bring a smile to your face and make some awesome memories!
