This is advertised as a "hard case", but it is really a typical EVA case that has some stiffness, but certainly not "hard" like an ABS or aluminum case. I can easily squeeze the case with just finger pressure. Fortunately, the RX100 is a pretty sturdy camera, so this may be enough protection for most owners. I have a RX100-VI camera, which is one of the larger models in this product line. The case is about 0.8 inch too wide for my camera, so the camera to slide around in the case quite a bit. This isn't a huge safety problem, but if you carrying the case in a pocket with limited size, then the extra bulk of the case may make it too large. Overall, I think this case is overpriced for what you get, even if it was the correct size. 3 stars.

SUPMAY MODEL: M07BB-03 HARD TRAVEL CASE for camera specific models is supplied with attaching Carry Strap. There are NO written materials or Warranty Card included with product. The case is hard molded with Zipper closure covering front and two sides. The top cover is hinged at rear. Fit and finish both inside and out without blemish in my observation. The color is true black and does not display alternate color hue ( purple/green ) under different light. Color is consistent throughout the case. INSIDE Case divided into two different functional sections. The top ( lid cover ) has a zippered Fishnet compartment where I have placed my charger cable and spare SD Card. The lower section has elastic bland which is not centered. The case is specific for my camera but elastic only lays on top of closed lens. It DOES NOT keep the camera positioned in one place. As the elastic is not centered the camera only fits in case in one direction where the elastic covers lens. Three Star Thank you for looking at the Review. Product is not as pictured in the product images. As you can see from my attached image the camera is loose in the case unlike the product images. So the camera can move around quite a bit in the case. Although this is probably not a huge issue for most because these little Sony cameras can take a beating as you can see in my picture of my well used camera, it can still be an issue for some and well the pictures promoting this are misleading anyways. As for the case its made fairly well and its a case that I see a lot of on here I even have one for my DJI drone but that case actually fits the drone securely unlike this one so I think this case was just a generic case that your camera can fit in loosely. Also I did not get a micro USB cable with it, even though I don't need it, it is mentioned in the description and shown in the product images. I'm giving the case 3 stars because to be honest its an OK case that I will find a different use for but not to protect this camera.
