Dutch Lavender EO (Lavandin) - Herbal, Sweeter, Subtle

I last ordered Lavender EO a long time ago and was stunned by the drastic price increase from brands I usually order. While in search of something more affordable, I came across the HBNO brand and gave it a shot. The Dutch lavender is technically Lavandin, a hybrid lavender. It's earthier, herbal, sweeter, and more subtle. It's different from a true lavender scent but still a relaxing and calming scent. It might not have enough staying power to fill your room when using a diffuser, however. Scent can be a very personal choice and ultimately your preference. If you prefer a more robust vibrant scent, look for true lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia). I noticed many reasonable "Lavender" EOs are blended with Lavandin (Lavandula hybrida - Hybrid Lavender = Cheaper EO) which I feel is still acceptable for massage oil or bath salts. Check out the label or the product descriptions and learn what's in the bottle before purchasing.
