Ear pads are nice and feel really soft, but the center hole is really small. Quality of the material is premium and installation is easy, just be careful with the size of your ears. Other than the small center opening this are a perfect replacement with good comfort and a nice feel in my ears, but I had to use than for my daughter headset, it was no for my big ears.

To cut to the chasefor greater comfort and immersion, I recommend at $6 more the SOULWIT ZeeBooth item B09KPKJKHL over these as they are as close as youll get to the $40 real thing. If price is a concern however, perhaps with a bulk order or the need for a throwaway set, these will do just fine for light usage and when subtle nuances of complex music are not a factor. Aside from a great price, the best thing about these LexRory cushions are their ease of installation due to the soft, pliable fabric. Unfortunately I think this lighter weight vinyl diminishes the sound immersion properties. Additionally, the ear cup is slightly shallower than the originals thus not allowing the ear to sit comfortably within them. Extended wear puts pressure on the ear bones. In my photos I have the Soulwit on the left compared to the LexRory on the right. My headphones are the Symphonized Wraith, which use the same size cushions as the Sennheiser 4.5. The differences between the two cushions are seemingly minute but significant to the resulting experience. Note even the embossing of the fabric on the left, which is only possible on thicker fabrics thus resulting in greater immersion. What does not come through in the photos is that these do have that disinfectant smell that youll need to wash out, but so did the Soulwits. So CharlieP says, spend a little more if you can; get these if you must. Either will give new life to your old cans.
