This ear cleaner is waterproof, so you can do it in the shower. It's so much easier this way as you don't have to worry about making a mess, or clean up. I can also use the shower's hot water for it, so it doesn't shock my system with cold water.

Good ear wax remover set, good quality and very easy to use and. My ears feel much cleaner now.

I like this device, it's easy for me to use this to get my ears clean. I am very uncomfortable about having another person clean out my ears as my ears are very sensitive. This device allows me to better clean my ears on my own without worrying about someone hurting my ears. I like the do it yourself speed control. I do wish there was some sort of cup to catch the water.

I didn't find the camera very useful, I have also seen many reviews on youtube that you should avoid these types of gadgets and go to a doctor for a deep wax cleaning. The kit inlcuded a cheap camera, a squeeze bottle and a tray.

This kit basically contains 2 items - a manual ear wax removal system and an otoscope. I'm going to review each separately. I had an earache a couple of years ago and I thought I had an ear infection. I went to an urgent care near me since it was on a Sunday. When the nurse examined my ear she said it wasn't an infection but I had a significant ear wax buildup. So, she brought out what looked like a spray bottle and a basin. She told me to hold the basin under my ear and she squeezed the trigger of the bottle to spray warm water into the ear. The wax came out and problem solved. That is by way of introduction. That experience sent me on a search to find systems like the one at the urgent care. I now have several kits and I find that this one is really nice. I wear hearing aids, which unfortunately promote wax buildup in the ears so I need a good ear cleaning procedure. This kit has exactly the kind of bottle the nurse used on me and contains a basin and soft and hard arms to carry the water in the bottle into your ears. The most important thing to note and one of the reasons this kit excels is the type of rubber tip that goes in your ear. Other kits I own have very thin plastic tubes. The construction of the tips in this one is different. It has a soft rubber end that goes in your ear. The rest of it wide enough that your ear opening stops it and doesn't let the end extend too far into your ear for safety purposes. I found that a great feature. There are 2 tips and 2 arms (flexible and rigid) that are provided. The items seem pretty sturdy so they should last awhile. I've been using this in the shower before I turn the water on and the wax just goes down the drain. I find that less messy than using the basin. The spray bottle works very well. You don't want to squeeze the trigger too hard - too much water pressure can hurt your eardrum. The second item included in this kit is an otoscope to check your ears. It's basically a hand-held camera with attached LED lights and a scoop. It connects to your phone or tablet via the EndscopeTool app and WIFI by creating its own network (softish-xxxxx) that you connect to. Then the camera connects to the app and shows you a visual of your ear as you move it around. You can take photos or videos as you move around. The wax can be removed by manipulating the scoop - that takes some practice. You can get close to your eardrum as well to inspect it. The app has an eardrum warning function you can turn on to advise you if you get too close to your eardrum. I found getting things into sharp focus a bit of a challenge but that improves with practice. You could also use it to look around in your mouth or eyes. It's kind of fun to experiment with it. The camera turns on by pressing the Power button and off the same way. The scoop is permanently attached and a blue sleeve goes over it. Extra sleeves are included. Included are a total of 5 sleeves. One tip - when you download and start the app, make sure you allow it to discover devices on your network. If you don't, the camera won't work. The instructions for this ear camera are excellent and I found it very easy to get started and use it. Also included with this set are a set of tools to manually clean your ears. All in all, this set is a winner. It lets you clean the wax from your ears quickly and then check the ears after you're done cleaning them, or before for that matter.
