I nearly listened to some of the negative reviews and I am so glad I didnt! First, yes, this oil is definitely diluted. Absolutely. Unfortunate, but the color alone gives that away because its completely clear and nutmeg oil, its a pale yellow to light brown in color by its very nature. One of my favorite oils actually. I use nutmeg in all forms almost daily. So with multiple different brands of ground nutmeg and, currently, I have 2 different varieties of whole nutmeg stored in the dark corners of my cabinet where I keep all of my raw ingredients away from the heat and light. At this moment I also have 4 different brands of nutmeg oil with various extraction methods and varieties. I will tell you this as well, I had 3 people I did a blind test with when I received this oil. Not one of them, nor myself, with my extremely sensitive senses and my life long experience using and adoring nutmeg, none of us could notice any difference from the fragrance of this oil when compared to my fresh, whole nutmeg (chopped up), no difference between the store bought name brands of ground nutmeg and it smells exactly like 2 of my very trusted brands of organic nutmeg oil. Its SLIGHTLY weaker because of whatever carrier oil they obviously used to thin it but that carrier is absolutely odorless. The slight weakening of the potency really is barely noticeable and the people I tested this with, only 1 even noticed that it is slightly diluted by fragrance alone. Of course I noticed and really was upset AT FIRST but it hasnt affected the overall benefits, use or fragrance in the end results. I did purchase on sale and would have been furious about the dilution IF I had paid anything more than what I did. But I am happy enough to have ordered another bottle so. Eh, do with that what you will. I wouldnt hesitate to order again in the future but only at the same price point. I have brands I KNOW are completely pure that I would buy if I have to pay more.

I received this tea tree oil on Feb 24th to deal with a bump that randomly appeared on my cartilage piercing. Before you piercing junkies come at me for hoops, I personally chose them because I heal better with them. This bump was benign overall, but it lasted for 2.5 months and would itch occasionallyplus it was just plain ugly. I tried cleaning it more often, no change. I tried oil blends, no change. I tried the aspirin method very minimal change. Mind you, I never slept on it. I finally caved and bought tea tree oil because I figured this was my last option. I didnt want to give up on this piercing because of my stubborn right ear! So I bought this and applied with a water-dampened q-tip day and night. In four days, I was already seeing positive changes. It shrunk a lot and the bump wasnt pronounced as before. I kept up the routine daily until I hit the three week mark. I noticed that the color was back to normal and the bump was practically flat, nonexistent, and there was no irritation! Safe to saythis works. Im so glad I didnt have to give up on this piercing, and now I have a method that I know works for me in case this happens again. People complain about the smell, but I like it, even despite its strength. The benefits outweigh that for me. The amount of oil they give you looks small, but considering what I used it for, its life a lifetime supply. It barely looks like Ive used it. So I say buy it. Give it a few weeks. It wont hurt.
