I bought these specifically to sleep in but they are so comfortable I wear them anytime I'm using my PS4 and don't want the TV volume disturbing my roommate. Other earbuds would hurt my ears when I slept on my side. The soft and minimal size of these helps prevent that, but it makes them less durable. They only last me about 5 months, before the sound starts to cut in and out, but considering the price I think that's pretty good. I also move around in my sleep and use then nightly so they get a real workout. I've never been spoiled by high quality ear phones so maybe I don't know what I'm missing, however these sound just as good as every other ear buds/headphones I have used, and I even listen to 3D audio with no issue. Overall I'm happy enough with them that when my current pair start to die I buy more. I've thought about trying other similar brands but they seem to have the same reviews as these so I'm sticking with what I know.

I'm an incredibly light sleeper - living at my MILs right now got these to help tune out the dogs, the late nights, etc. and they work well pair with some brown noise to drown it all out and It's still comfortable and barely feel it even laying on my side.

My mind wanders when I lay in bed and usually the surest way for me to fall asleep is to put on a podcast and zone out. These headphones have been far and away the best ones for sleeping, and have even graduated to being day-to-day headphones when I travel and sometimes when I take calls for work. For the price I cannot think of any real cons-- they aren't Bose quality but absolutely beyond Bose value. They aren't noise-cancelling headphones, but they conform well to the ear enough that you don't need to pump up the volume to hear things, and because it fits well you can operate at a volume well under the threshold where a sleeping partner can hear what you have playing in your own ear. Pros: - Soft, I can sleep with my ear in the pillow, it fits incredibly well and it's an ergonomic fit in its own right - Robust -- I've traveled with this and they can be folded up and tucked away and after a few months of use while sleeping and traveling I haven't experienced any failures from it yet - Control panel -- the controls for the headphones are simple: Volume up, Start/stop, volume down. These are exactly what I need when I am in bed and don't want to pull up my phone to change those basic settings - Better than bluetooth -- part of my justification for buying these headphones was to move away from bluetooth headphones at night because those can fall out and get lost or broken in bed, and my phone also had this annoying habit of playing whatever I had on LOUDLY if I ran out of battery at night. This was not pleasing at all to my partner. Soon I plan to buy extra sets of these headphones because they do exactly what I need of them and they are cheap enough to have backups in case I lose one or it eventually fails.

First off, I never even realized that there were as many of these "sleep buds" as I'm now seeing. I was looking for Bluetooth headphones of the same ilk, and the closest I've come were a headband style. And in terms of comfort, those are okay-ish...but nowhere in the same league as the ones I'm reviewing right now. That said, my initial thought, when seeing that all of these sleep style buds are wired, was that of disappointment. But for the price, it makes total sense and isn't a surprise. To the actual review, short and to the point: 1. Comfort: Perhaps one of, if not THE most comfortable in ear buds wired OR wireless, ever. Seriously. Usually I loathe silicone tips, but these are a serious exception. The driver is in an incredibly short and narrow and soft silicone housing. Being short and narrow is the key to not killing your ears when on your side. The soft and very flexible silicone is what lends itself to not giving your ears fatigue for long listening stints. 2. Sound Quality: I was sort of expecting the type of sound Quality you'd get from the plastic tube headphones on airplanes back in the 80's. But what I hear is more akin to fairly decent Bluetooth headphones in the $40 range. They sound like a few pairs that I own for sure. So...very nice surprise. They won't win any awards for detail or soundstage, but in a pinch, they're quite good. I bought these for podcasts and ASMR though, and in that context, they're killer. They sound MUCH better than some Bluetooth buds in that regard. Also, the noise isolation is fantastic. But... It also relates to the one downside I can think of.... Cons: If I had to come up with one negative (which I've found a solution to), it would be cable microphonics. Because the noise isolation is so great, you can hear a lot of noise when the cables move. These are microphonics. There's an easy fix for that though... Just take the cable and loop it over your ear. Done. Almost zero noise now. The only thing that would make these better is if they had a cable tassel attached, so that you could keep the cables taught near your chin. Oh...The controls. They are perfect. Big enough buttons to feel each one and the whole thing is very light weight so as not to be uncomfortable or awkward. I'll probably get another pair or two (might try a different brand too) just in case. Last word:. I've fallen asleep wearing these a few times now, and cannot recommend these highly enough.
