Review is for a pair of BIGGCOOL Heel Cushions marketed for Heel Pain, Heel Inserts for Shock Absorption and Achilles Tendonitis and Bone Spur. I suffer from Achilles tendonitis and have been managing them with good shoes along with a decent insert. I have inserts in all my shoes so that i don't need to keep removing and moving them around. The inserts are well made and stay in place inside the shoe, without moving around. They fit well into the shoe. I used them with hiking boots and sneakers. Having used several other similar inserts, these are significantly stiffer and not soft. They did not aggravate my pain but it did not give me comfort. However, these might work differently for other people. At $12.99, during the time of this review, it did not provide me with a good value.

While I really like the comfort of the heel inserts, I dislike the use of adhesion for securing them. If you stick the heel inserts in your shoes to keep them in place, then you can only use them in one pair of shoes. If you attempt to move them to different shoes, you'll lose the adhesion quickly. Without a way to secure the inserts, they slide around in your shoes. Also, if you use the inserts in multiple pairs of shoes, you'll likely have the sticky residue in the heel area of your shoes. There has to be a better way to secure the inserts, or the inserts need to have a thin layer that extends to the toes. Then they won't slide around in your shoes, and you can easily use them in several pairs of shoes.

Really nothing special about these except they are available in a larger size which helps for wider feet. Other than that, they are mostly gel and have an adhesive pad on the bottom so you can stick them in your shoes. For a while, they do stay in place but the adhesive breaks down pretty quickly. I do not think you will be able to move these into different shoes and still have that adhesive. The gel, like other gel inserts, flattens out over time and looses the bounce that helps absorb the shock. It did provide cushioning for about a month. This did not help my Achilles at all because it was too variable through the day and with each step. I need something a bit sturdier that will hold up to being on my feet all day. For me, this didn't work out but that doesn't mean it isn't good for someone else.

These are really well cushioned! I'm a heavier gal so sometimes things that advertise as well cushioned still aren't supportive enough for me. But these are great. I actually chose not to remove the plastic piece and have them stick in my shoes that I could move them in and out of a few pairs for now. They didn't slip much through a day's wear and I'm sure they would have stuck well if I used them as directed.
