Unfortunately I am not a stranger to pain patches and I've tested many different ones. I can honestly say that the ChuYaoTang pain patches are among the best I have ever used. In fact, before I put them away I wrote a note on the box that says save for when the need is the highest. Now, let's see what we have here.. Heat. This is the very best part. Admittedly I have not worn this patch for 12 hours yet, but the heat is excellent, just the way it should be and so far after several hours the heat has not reduced. It is not too hot so no skin is getting scorched here, but it is quite warmer than most patches I've used, it's perfect. Any warmer or less warm would be a downgrade, but this is just perfect. Scent. Sometimes this type of patches can smell so strongly that you'd be afraid or embarrassed to go out in public with them. These patches here won't stop me from going out in public. They do smell a little stronger than average, but it is in no way obnoxious or a huge giveaway that there's a patch stuck to my body. Adhesive. This too is pretty good. It is different compared to other patches. The middle seems to have a different adhesive than the edges. It sticks well, although I would need to be honest and say I have had patches with much stronger adhesive. Of course you don't want it too strong unless you want some hairs pulled out. The patch sticks and so far it has stayed in place, but again, the adhesive could be a little stronger. Freshness. These patches smell fresh and they give a fresh impression. At least that was my impression before I looked at the date on the box. The date confirmed it, they were manufactured just less than 3 months from the time I received this and they have a two year shelf life. The patches are in individually sealed bags which will keep them fresh until they are needed. I guess this was a long review just to say that these are far better than many other patches I have tested, and it would not feel right to give them any less than a five star rating as they are very deserving of the best rating I can give them.

These pain patches are ok, they may take some time to work a bit but it doesnt really take away pain if youre having bad pains, might be great for workout muscle aches, but for nerve issues or really bad back pain from a muscle pull, it might not do much, its more of a topical superficial sensation relief.

These aren't bad, but work different than other heat patches in that it did not get as warm. It sticks well, but remember to peel the second cover off the actual pad itself. I wasn't sure if it was the pad working, or just the tightness of the tape that seemed to provide me some mild relief, but it did not last as long as other heat pads I have tried. If you're looking for something to put on and go for some minor relief, then these aren't bad.

These patches work great. No problems. Adhesive stays & patches don't lift up.
