Beet root has become one of the wonder supplements, and my wife has accommodated this new vitamin by juicing beets (and the roots) at home, adding green apples and celery for sweetness. Well, strawberries are red, after all, and these gummies taste delicious. Slightly tart and not overly sweet, they really hit the spot. I ordered these beet root gummies for their reputed ability to increase daily energy levels and their support of healthy blood circulation. I've been taking these gummies for several weaks and have found them to have slightly, but noticeably, increased my energy levels. I think that substantive improvement will require a few months of daily use. There are 90 gummies in each bottle, and with a 2 gummy serving size, that equals a 45 day supply. Not bad. I've tried a lot of these lately, and these are some good ones. It helps that they are basically just a beet root supplement with pepper added to help with absorption. I can't speak to absorption or any specific benefits with these. I've never noticed anything specific from taking beet root supplements, but as a food-based ingredient that has a lot of purported health benefits, I think it can't hurt. These get you 600 mg. of beet root powder per two gummies. You get 45 servings if you do it that way (obviously 90 or a three-month supply if you only chew one a day) for a fairly low upfront cost. The gummies taste great. They don't taste like beets, they taste more like a strawberry-flavored candy thanks to something called "organic fruity extraction (strawberry)" along with pectic, citric acid, and then organic tapioca syrup and sugar. There are 3 grams of sugar per two gummies, so they should taste good and they do. There is no aftertaste for me at all. They are chewy, not sticky, and the experience overall is very satisfying.
