I can't use it if I need razor thin accuracy but for everything else these are my go to. My red one had slight damage to the cap pocket clip, most likely during manufacturing (see picture) but it doesn't affect functionality for me. They mark on almost everything and the red colored mark is a standout on darker surfaces!

Works as expected.

This mechanical pencil bundle is a beast. Everything about it is heavy-duty. The pen is made out of thick piece of plastic and boasts an aluminum tip. The refillable "lead" pencils are reinforced and thus rigid and super thick. If that wasn't enough, it also comes with a protective cover to avoid breakage even when dropped. Furthermore, the pencil comes with a built-in sharpener although I'm at a loss as to why it's necessary at all. The lead is already exposed. Lastly, it has an elongated tip about 2'' which makes it perfect for marking in narrow and tight spaces. It's a pencil so you can leave it in the toolbox for years and it would still write like if it were new. You can also write it upside down without worrying about whether it would write at all. To close, I just can't rave about this product. I can't see a single flaw in it. It comes with a plenty of refills to last a single person years to run out and even comes with some colored ones for increased visibility. 5 out of 5 stars, price is quite attractive at the time of writing too. I'd grab it while it's hot.

This is a nicely priced pencil kit for marking up projects around the house or shop. I imagine this will get good use for marking up wood cuts, drill hole locations in walls, drawing cut lines or whatever you use your pencil markups for. You get two solid pencils that have a built-in pencil sharpener and caps. The pencils click advance and you get a good amount of leads in black, yellow and red. I am not sure of the hardness on the black lead, but it isn't too soft or too hard. It uses a standardized lead size for refills. It's nice to have two color pencils so you can use for two separate colors. With the cap off, the pencil feels good in my hands.

I thought they would mark better but its no different from a pencil
