This product is small and compact, making it easy to take with me on the go. It's rechargeable and comes with a charging cable, which is convenient. I tested it with my home cameras and it worked well, reflecting the red light off the camera lens when I looked through the viewfinder.

As the title says, unfortunately this product is one I took a chance on and probably should have skipped. I do a lot with tech in general in all different areas as well as security. I love the idea of this product and there are definitely true-blue products out there that will help you find hidden cameras, listening devices or audio bugs in environments that are not meant to be there whether it's a hotel, motel, resort, Airbnb, you get the idea. I guess what I'm saying is right off the start there are better devices to get however in fairness I believe this device was about $10 so it was worth the risk in trying the product to see if it would yield any results. Starting with some of the good sides of this product, it is a compact product and easy to travel with. The product has a small strap. (as you can see in the photos, please definitely look at the photos for reference) That the strap is a nice area where you're going to pretty much end up holding this device. How it works is there's 4 fairly strong LEDS in this little guy and it does have three variations of flashing that are supposed to show the reflection of hidden cameras when the red LED hits a hidden camera lens and what you do is you hold it to your eye and look through that little hole as the lights are blinking. Now the directions said you're supposed to be able to find listening devices briefly (unless it was referring to a different product being they have a whole line) I don't see how that would work being there's no actual antenna to pick up any frequency, but I can definitely see how it's supposed to work as far as cameras go. Now, the bottom line is that it just doesn't work. I have these types of devices whether they are home brewed or actually bought from "spy stores" that have this type of equipment because I do a lot in tech as I said and develop safety protocols and products to detect these types of things and to do that you have to actually get these types of products and essentially reverse engineer them. So, unfortunately this product did not yield any positive results. I set up multiple hidden cameras as well as cameras I knew that were there and they it did not even pick up on the legitimate cameras whether that being cameras on everyday devices like ZeeBooth Echo devices, whether it be cell phone cameras, whether it be small snake spy cameras, or like endoscope cameras. Basically, I am saying whether it was cameras that were placed or there in general and the hidden ones that were set up, unfortunately this did not detect them. I will say the LED's are very strong and they have the capability to get that reflection however they just did not do the job or work, The compact design is very cool and the idea of it is actually great because a lot of them do actually work this way but for something like this I would suggest paying a little bit more than $10 and get a real one if you're worried about privacy concerns especially at places like Airbnb's and really anywhere these days because you can't trust a lot of places whether it is a high rated resort or even lower places like I said hotel, motels, if you're in travels and you got to stay somewhere that's right off the road, whatever the case may be, you're going to want something that is a little bit more intensive and is going to do the job. Now, that doesn't mean the more you spend the better product you're going to get but do your research and you will see that there are products that for $10 more can detect audio frequencies as well as do the same thing this is supposed to do and find hidden cameras. Unfortunately, this is going to get 2 stars, it should be one star realistically but I'm trying to be unbiased and fair although the product does not work, they did get a lot of things right and it's close to the design of professional products like this and because it doesn't work. This it's a great concept, it's a great design and I love its compact and it's very easy to take around with you. The problem is it just doesn't work plain and simple. I hate giving low reviews, but this has earned it in the worst way because it does not work. This product does a lot right as far as battery amperage or mAH for its size, the strong LED's, the compact design, but as I said it just does not pick up what it should. I also will note the charging chord is Micro USB which is very old technology. Strictly in opinion, everything should be at least Type-C these days, it's not the end of the world but charging this via Micro USB to USB or type-A usb it's just old technology and makes for slower charging. I will also have to know that charging it from a dead battery to a full charge did take over two hours which it claims it charges in two hours, and it lasts longer than that, however while I could see it lasting long because you'd be using it sporadically but again the charging time is definitely longer than listed. Small and compact and comes already charged and ready to use. Like that it's rechargeable and comes with a charging cable. You can pack this in your luggage and have it handy to scope out any room on the road to ensure you're there alone. Tested it with my home cameras - easier to see when you have infrared looking at you - tested with my home cameras. You just turn it on, point it where you think there's a camera, and you should be able to see the red light reflecting off the camera lens when you look through the viewfinder..
