This is my first time using psyllium husk for baking but it works great as a binder for gluten free bread. Gluten free bread lacks the gluten to give bread its structure so this helps to make the GF bread light and fluffy.

Overall great product really good for my health and journey. Will definitely recommend for anyone wanting to be Healthier in life.

If you're looking for a pure Psyllium Whole Husk fiber source, this is it. It does the job. It's not the best at anything, its just overall the best way to go. It doesn't taste great, it doesn't dissolve great, it's not the most economical choice. But as far as Psyllium sources goes, this ranks amongst the best.

I dreaded tasting this as my mind jumped right to the chemical sludge taste and colostomy-type projectile backside discharge...... There was no taste, and my trips to the "necessary room" are no longer pain-filled, dreaded, time-consuming visits used for reading short novels or doing my taxes. I put it in a 16-ounce water bottle and add some grape water enhancer (just because I do that with all of my bottled water;) that way, I get some of the extra water I need per day. I have yet to start taking the three times per day suggested dose, but I will tonight. Since I take a sleeping pill, it does concern me, but I am going to try it anyway. There's nothing like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute... I will reorder it. Update.. 3 tablespoons a day is fine and I have noticed I am not trying to suck everything out of the fridge every 30 seconds. Sorry they are out of it but I did finally find it online.

Himalaya whole psyllium husk is absolutely the best psyllium husk available. I wanted to write this review because it seems that no one else has mentioned that this product is 99% White husk, and only 1% seed. The White husk is what keeps me regular and is the reason for the high efficacy of this product. If you compare Himalaya psyllium husk to any other, you'll notice the white color of Himalaya. The other brands have a dark brown color because they are mostly seed. Again, it is the 99% white husk that actually works. So if the color of your psyllium husk is dark brown, it is mostly seed, and will lack efficacy. I have been using whole psyllium husk for 23 years and this is the absolute purest and highest quality whole psyllium husk I've ever used! Also, I take it at bedtime as it gives me an excellent, comfortable and complete evacuation upon waking.
