A nice bag of treats (about 20) at a good price for my dog, they look kind of like mini hotdog sausages. The true review of this comes from my dog though who has more than liked eating them over the last few weeks as a mid morning treat. They have no objectionable odor and smell like premium beef treats with few and all natural ingridients and made in the USA. I can definitely recommend these, well my dog can at least ;-) and at less than a $1 a treat I think the price point is well placed.

Rather it smelled like "real" food rather than the stuff you usually see in dog treats. Hard to describe, but it made me feel like this is probably a higher quality product that is using good ingredients. The treats are sizeable, so my small dogs felt like they got a nice big treat. I think the size would also be good for larger dogs. The bag/packaging is adequate. Nothing special, but it gets the job done. I'm impressed with these treats and am glad I ordered them.

Human grade quality. Few ingredients. Fantastic texture and oh so easy to cut in half for training sessions. The very moment we opened these Honest Paws Dog Jerky Treats, the girls came running. Noses in air, ears twitching, drooling a lot! For doing absolutely nothing - I rewarded them each with a treat! Yummy! Immediately, one of my girls tried to "give me five" - I didn't even ask for her paw. So, then I bent one in half, it broke cleanly and easily, but did not crumble. I have stored the opened bag in the refrigerator, because the treats are human grade and because it is also suggested on the bag - "consume or refrigerate after three days of opening".

These look and smell like real chicken, they're moist, and my dog just LOVES them. He's so pleased. The size and texture reminds me of the jerky sticks you pick up as a snack for yourself. Looking at the package, these are labeled as made in Ohio, with US-sourced ingredients, and also labeled as shown in the listing. Specifically, the package lists ingredients as follows: Chicken, salt, sugar, citric acid, cultured dextrose, paprika (color), black pepper, maltodextrin. That's it. These look to be at a bit of a high price-point but looking at other treats, it seems to be fairly in line with other treats I've seen lately (freeze-dried salmon, etc). My dog is smaller (30 pounds) so I don't give him a whole one anyway, I usually break off about 1/3 of it, so these will last quite awhile. Once a month for this price and he'll love me forever.
