Hyper Pet Monster Pal Replacement Plush Dog Toy Cover - for all Breeds - Replacement Cover ONLY...

My dog is 9 yrs. old so I've purchased 9 of these as I get him a new one every year. Usually, it's just loud and the bark is annoying to humans but like catnip (ya know if dogs liked catnip) to my dog. My pup was so excited when his new one arrived back in early July 2024 and couldn't wait for me to pull the tab to get the barking, bouncing, wiggling to begin. I took it out of the package, pulled the tab and gave it to him, he shook it and this HORRIBLE screeching/squealing sound came out of it! Oh boy, it was defective. I had to take it away from my boy and get on ZeeBooth and do an exchange because it should bark and bounce and wiggle, not squeal/screech and bounce and wiggle. I did the exchange and a few days later a new one was delivered! The joy on my pups face was priceless. Again, I pulled the tab out and gave it to him and this one ALSO HAD A HORRIBLE SCREECHING/SQUEALING SOUND! I decided to contact the seller directly as I didn't want to get them in trouble with ZeeBooth for selling multiple defective products. I called the number on the enclosed paperwork and got voicemail so I left a message with my name, email address and return phone number just as the outgoing message instructed. I waited 4 days and no one called me back so I called the number again and again got voicemail so I left yet another message, it's been over a week now and no one has bothered to call me back. Terrible customer service and two defective products that they absolutely know about and here I am giving a trash review for a trash company with a great product that my dog loves when it works as advertised. Fortunately, I see there are other companies on ZeeBooth that sell similar products so my dog will not have to go without for too long. Just seriously disappointed that I've purchased 9 of these from this vendor over the years and can't get an email or call of apology! I hope ZeeBooth pulls them as a seller so they don't scam anyone else!

The only thing I don't like about this toy is the time it takes to replace the batteries. It comes with a velcro closure, but our sweet little angels destroyed that velcro like a shark after a surfer . So I sewed it closed with dental floss. But with good batteries in it, this thing is a riot! If you drop it or shake it or give it a reasonable bump, it takes off! It vibrates and jumps and makes a weak barking sound that our pups simply cannot ignore! They grab the tail and shake it so hard, and then they wrestle to see who gets to drag it into the next room. If left alone, the toy shuts off automatically, but any good shake or bump brings it back to life. Battery life will depend on usage, of course, but we got about a week at first. They don't play with it every day any more, so now we get 2 or 3 weeks from fresh batteries. One of my favorite pranks is to take it with me to a friend's house, and drop it on the floor for the canine occupant there. Some go nuts for it, some run for their safe place! We are very satisfied with this dog toy! . Dog is such a small word for something that takes up so much room in your heart.

My 5 month old goldendoodle puppy LOVES this toy. It did come with batteries which is great, however; they did not last long. I'm thinking possibly lithium ion batteries maybe to help it have longer play time. Some things I don't care for: the closure of the toy in the fur like material, my dog spends entirely too much time trying to figure out how to get it opened. The button to turn it off and on. It can easily be turned off unintentionally which can be a pain when I want my dog to remain busy with the toy...I have to stop and 'troubleshoot' every so often. I've changed the batteries and it's officially dead again after about a week of playing. My dog does continue to play with it even without the noise and vibrations; which is just fine by me. Overall, it's a great toy for hyper dogs and puppies. He loves it no matter it's operation, but he also genuinely just loves all his toys.

My dog loves this toy. Shes a small dog (12#) and I thought this would be too much toy for her, but she adores it. It works by knocking or dropping or banging it against something then it makes a kind of squeaky barking sound. And that sound is wildly annoying. Wildly, profoundly, deeply annoying. But I still give this toy 4 stars. My high-energy puppy can entertain herself with this, bouncing and swinging it around, for long periods of time. Its extremely durable and it utterly delights her. She is 9 months, very high energy and if shes not in motion, she is asleep. When she is awake, she wants to play all the time. For small dog, she is a high intensity chewer and makes quick work of long lasting chews/bones. Shes clever and once she figures out other interactive toys, usually in less than 30 minutes, she looses interest even if it dispenses treats. But she can play for hours with this toy independently. And I can drown out its sound with a podcast or the TV or even sometimes good earplugs, and that means she doesnt bother me. The sound is worth it for the joy she gets from it. The battery is frustrating to change. The next time it wears out I will probably happily pay $16 for a whole one rather than deal with lining up the plastic groves then getting a tiny screw driver to tediously opening the battery compartment - it's a whole thing. But she just loves this toy. Besides actual attention from me, which I love giving her but sometimes I need to work from home or do things besides play with her, this is her favorite thing.
