My daughter has been using ice cubes on her face as a part of her skincare routine. I felt like there had to be a better option than plucking an ice cube from the freezer and holding it with her fingers. When I saw this, I knew it would be much better for her. The product doesn't require any instructions because it's very obvious how it should be used. There's a top and bottom that are both silicone and meet in the center. The cover has a little hole with a small plug. You simply make sure the cover and base are pressed firmly together, and add your water into the small port on the top. If you want to add anything else to it (cucumber, aloe vera, etc.) you can put that in before putting the cover on and adding the water. After filling, you place it standing up in your freezer. My daughter fills it in the morning to use during her nighttime routine. Once frozen, she grips the bottom portion and rocks the top back and forth to remove the cover. You could also run a little warm water over the upper portion and that should help as well. My daughter is really happy with this product. It's still cold on her hands but not nearly as extreme as the ice cubes. We also think it's really awesome that you can add other products in addition to water. It's super affordable and has made icing her face so much easier. I'm very pleased!

This was all but unusable for me. Even though I filled it through the hole on the top, left plenty of space for the ice to expand, and placed it upright in my freezer, the water/ice still leaked out between the two pieces and froze them together making it impossible to take the top off without risking damage to the top. The flat part of the bottom is also so thin that, every time I froze it, the bottom bulged out and tipped the roller over creating lopsided ice

It works great but don't over fill it because the water expands when it freezes. I add cucumber to mine and its perfect in the morning.

This ice roller is pretty straight forward to use. You just fill it up with water and put it in the freezer until frozen. You do need to be careful to not completely fill it as water expands when it freezes. Before you load the water you can put in some skin care ingredients to add to the water. I add sliced cucumbers for puffiness relief because I see it used on TV at spas. I'm not sure the cukes make a difference, as the icing is really what helps me. When the frozen ice bar is done you rinse it under some water, pop the top and run it over your problem areas. I have bags under my eyes I work on. The price point is reasonable even though there is not much to the roller. It is made of food grade silicon which I suspect helps avoid any skin reactions. I had no issues. This is a much better way of icing than when I was just using ice cubes. The product description explains other uses of facial icing such as reducing wrinkles and addressing dry skin for example. It also shows you that it can help with sunburns and inflammation in other parts of the body besides the face. It is a useful tool to have around the house for all those reasons.
