This product is awesome!

This product is exactly what it says it does. It syncs up with my ThinkPad via Bluetooth amazingly well. Even during times of inaction, it seems to connect right away. Its by far the best keypad Ive ever used with my computer. Battery life is great, it doesnt take time too much time to charge at all and its got a nice compact size that you can carry around or leave on your desk. I would highly recommend it.

Suited for purpose

This keypad works well. The aluminum body does feel nice (maybe a bit cold in the winter, though...) The keys feel like decent enough quality scissor keys and I haven't experienced anything like keys not actuating or anything like that. I have a couple of gripes. 1.) The power switch is both rigid/hard to move and SHARP. It hurts my fingers. 2.) The sleep mode can be frustrating and seems overly aggressive. I frequently am losing my first keypress many times because it is waking up. I don't feel this is worth the minimal charge gain at all. The sleep timer should be much longer. It won't kill me to have to charge this thing occasionally. 3.) It's a little hard to grab without mashing keys. Recommend besides, however.

Excellent jog control for CNC

First off, the general stuff. Seems solidly built, the metal construction feels durable. Second, the specific. I bought this to use as a jog controller for a CNC machine, specifically a Shapeoko 5 Pro. I like that there are separate buttons for page up/down, and also for direction arrows. If you have the same CNC, up/down controls Y, left/right controls X, pg up/down controls Z, and the numbers 1-4 control jog speed. Some people on the forums will use a Rii keyboard which is $7 cheaper, but not as solidly built and requires using the shift key to get some of the functions which Id imagine pretty annoying. Setup was incredibly easy, literally from box to jogging was less than 30 seconds. Very happy with it, if you buy it for this purpose Im sure you will be too.
