I followed the instructions and they did work with a basic shielded cable, and to their credit, the connectors are a nice weight, made of nice materials and physically sturdy. BUT, I could not for the life of me get it to fit on a quad shielded cable. I pulled, I pressed, I used a splitter to try and attach the cable to it to have something to press against, I used a crimp tool's open space to try and press against and I could not get the dielectric to go anywhere near the top of the hole that the instructions mention. I then used a pair of workmen's gloves to get more traction and just about split the cable in half attempting the second time. I tried removing some more of the shielding, I tried cutting the cable's outer jacket, I tried everything. I had a massive blister from trying all these times and STILL didn't make a working cable. Thinking it was still possibly me, I tried everything again with a freshly stripped cable and another connector. No dice. Went with another brand (Klein Tools Universal F Compression Connector) and made the connection in less than 3 minutes and without the extreme strain on myself. These may work for you, but they didn't work for me at all.

it feels and looks like a pressure fitted crimp-on coax connector, but very to use without tools. Strip the coax like normal and twist on with the confidence that it will not separate from the threaded head like the cheap ones do.

I wasn't going to spend tens of dollars to buy compression equipment for the one connection I needed. These connectors work well except they are VERY HARD to slide on without a trick I figured out. After I stripped the end of the coax cable and neatly folded the outer wires down, as directed, I heated the end with a hair dryer. The cable slid into the connector easily and could even be adjusted slightly until everything cooled. Once cool, the joint is extremely tight and permanent. Much better than the lousy twist-on connectors, which are basically loose and can't be handled.
