external M.2 connector

Bought a new laptop, but it didn't have two internal M.2 slots. This is a USB-C connector, so that you can have an external M.2 device. Works wonderfully, worth the money.

Works well

The product is easy and toolless making it a pretty simple interface for an external drive. I've seen some people make the complaint that it doesn't seem to work with specific Samsung M.2 drives, I haven't noticed this myself with NVME drives from Samsung. It is useful if you're looking to use an NVME drive like a normal USB storage device, and to that end I have to disagree with a lot of the 1 star reviews I read that seemed to have a complaint with long term continued usage. If you want to install an NVME drive you need to open your computer, that's not the purpose of a USB interface.

Fast and resistant

It has a good price for what it offers. It really works with almost any type of MVME. Additionally, the materials in which it was made has a good quality. The only "negative" comment I have is that it sometimes get really warm. However, this is expected if we keep in mind that it doesn't have a very elaborated heat dissipation system. I'm happy with this product anyways!

I was very Suprised and Satisfied in the End

I have tested and used similar systems and usually there is a buffer between the OS and the Card... This enclosure is very well MADE... I recommend the Rubber Case (Orange is a tad bit annoying, but easy to find so I get it).... I placed a 1TB WD BLACK M.2 and ran tests of data transfer from the direct board install to the iDSOniX M.2 Enclosure Adapter and the speed and data transfer in and out were in the nano second difference. This would be a great storage device to keep your Documents, Pics, Vids etc.... PERSONAL DATA off your PC or MAC (I tested both), and this is a TOP NOTCH pass-thru device..... Very Shocked at the price, but Very PLEASED with this devices performance.! (note: even the AVG recognized it s a DRIVE and not an extension Drive, Bonus) Great Bang for your $$
