I picked this up to have another connection option to use with my Insta 360x3 camera on my Motorcycle. This allows me to not have to leverage a selfie stick and instead connect this directly to some of the other ball mount accessories. I have multiple ball mounts in various locations on my bike, my favorite use for this one is off the front crash bars to provide a unique angle of the wheel and the shocks as Im driving. The piece itself feels like metal or aluminum and doesnt feel like its going to fall off at all. Theres a provided allen wrench that you can tighten the base right into the camera very snug. It has a protective rubber area on the top where the camera connects to make sure it doesnt get scratched. My favorite part about this is I can leave the entire mounted setup on my bike and press the two buttons to detach the camera and take it with me which is really convenient. Im more concerned with someone trying to take my camera, less so with the rest of the ball mount accessories. The lock hasnt come disconnected by itself. It feels sturdy so not concerned with it falling off.

This quick release camera ball mount is very easy to use! It makes it very convenient to take my camera on and off the mount during multiple situations where I just need to use the camera off the mount very quickly. And then pop it back on when I'm ready to mount it again. The screw part of the mount is well made and keeps my camera secure. The 1 inch ball fits all my adjustable mounts and stays on tight. Haven't had any problems or complaints yet. Overall very impressed and happy with the ease of use and quality of this ball mount!

This is a well designed and made quick release mount for your GoPro. I like the way it attaches to the camera through the 1/4 - 20 mount with the supplied Allen wrench. When attached to the base it is firm with no slop. This now allows a very adjustable mount through the ball mount to move between ball mounts on boat, car etc. Fit and finish of this metal device is very good. If you have use for a quick release ball mount for your GoPro or other small camera I recommend considering this.

The ball is equipped with a CNC aluminum quick release mount and plate system. Meant to an Insta360 camera, the 1/4-20" threaded stud allows anything compatible to be mounted. GoPro to mirrorless cameras. To lights and strobes. The quick release is proprietary, and I don't like that. We have a a popular standard in Arca Swiss. I wish they had created their offering around that. I don't have a readily accessible source for this plate. I can mount an Arca-Swiss mount to its thread but it shouldn't have been necessary. I docked it a star for that. But it does work and appears to be well made to tight tolerances.

The media could not be loaded. This quick release mount is of very good quality and solid. It works and fits perfectly. Zero problems, very good quality at a very good price. I recommend it 100%
